Immigration/Southern Border:
President Trump has said that he will declare a national emergency at the southern border and reinstate the “Remain in Mexico” and “Catch and Release” policies. Another planned action, first mentioned by the president on the campaign trail last year, was his plan to invoke the Alien Enemies Act of the wider Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798 to use state and federal law enforcement to target and eliminate foreign gangs across the U.S., halt all illegal entry into the United States, and return criminal aliens back to their home countries.
