Two Indian Air Force C-17A Globemaster llls departed India on Friday bound for Venezuela, reportedly carrying an Indian Army Field Hospital Unit and over 35 tons of relief supplies, medicine and medical equipment, including a number of BHISHM Cubes.

Two Airbus A400M Atlas with the Turkish Air Force, carrying a 67-person search-and-rescue and humanitarian aid detachment, including a 38-person AFAD Search-Rescue and humanitarian aid team from Istanbul, Izmir and Denizli, 5-person UMKE team from the Ministry of Health, 2-person humanitarian aid team from the Turkish Red Crescent, 22-person team from the Ministry of National Defense’s Humanitarian Aid Brigade, 2 search dogs and 3 equipped search and rescue vehicles, departed earlier today for Venezuela.

Personnel with USA-01 and USA-02, elite heavy urban search-and-rescue teams serving under the U.S. State Department, along with several of their four-legged partners, prepare to board U.S. Air Force C-17A Globemaster llls in California and Virginia before deploying to earthquake-torn Venezuela.
