Smoke seen rising from the site of an industrial explosion at the Ras Laffan Liquified Natural Gas Plant near Doha, Qatar, with civil defense teams and authorities enroute, according to Qatar’s Interior Ministry.

Following reports of a loud explosion at Qatar’s Ras Laffan Industrial Area, the Qatari Ministry of the Interior has said that the explosion was due to a “technical incident” and civil defense teams are handling the incident. Per the release, no injuries have been reported yet.
