According to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) Centre, the same cargo vessel reportedly struck by an unknown projectile 40nm southeast of Umm Qasr, Iraq was impacted again by another projectile. As a result a fire started, which has now been put out. No injuries were reported.

According to a statement from the Lebanese president’s office, Lebanese officials have received confirmation of Lebanese Hezbollah’s (LH) commitment to cease strikes on Israel, following U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s announcement that during a call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister agreed to do the same.
