U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that over the weekend it carried out several self-defense strikes on Iranian air defenses, radar, command-and-control sites, and one-way attack drones in Goruk, Iran and Qeshm Island. The strikes, which occurred Saturday and Sunday, were in response to recent aggressive actions by Iran, to include the shootdown of a U.S. MQ-1 Predator that was operating over the international waters of the Persian Gulf.

Iran’s Mehr News Agency has released a statement from the IRGC, following what appears to have been a spate of reciprocal strikes from both the U.S. and Iran. Per the release, the IRGC aerospace forces, in response to recent U.S. strikes, targeted the airbase (likely Kuwait’s Ali Salem) from which the U.S. strikes originated from.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that two Iranian ballistic missiles were fired at U.S. forces in Kuwait last night at 11pm ET. The incoming missiles were defeated, and there were no injuries to U.S. personnel.

Iran’s state-run Tasnim News Agency reports that Iran has suspended all further diplomatic communication and messages with the United States, in protest of Israel’s violation of the current ceasefire “on all fronts,” specifically citing Israeli strikes and military operations in Lebanon.

The UK Office of Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) is reporting a possibly missile attack on a commercial vessel in the Northern Persian Gulf, 40NM southeast of Umm Qasr, Iraq.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that as of today, U.S. forces have redirected 121 commercial vessels and disabled five in support of the naval blockade of Iran.

According to Iranian state-backed media outlet Fars, following Iran’s suspension of talks over Israel’s escalation in Southern Lebanon, the IRGC is now threatening to target Northern Israel if Israel expands their strike campaign to include Lebanese Hezbollah positions and infrastructure in the capital, Beirut.

According to Israel’s Kan News, U.S. President Donald J. Trump is on a call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following Iran’s announcement that they suspended talks with the U.S. over Israel’s strikes and ground operations in Southern Lebanon. Earlier, President Trump said that he had not yet been made aware of the move by Iran.

This comes amidst reports that the U.S. pressured Israel to forego strikes on Lebanese Hezbollah in Beirut, Lebanon.

In a post on Truth Social, President Donald J. Trump stated that he had a "very productive" conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the situation in Lebanon, adding that any troops en route to Beirut have been recalled. President Trump also revealed he spoke with Hezbollah, who agreed to a potential ceasefire.

Despite recent reports that Iran has set their foot down on tying a Lebanon ceasefire to U.S.-Iran ceasefire talks, after his call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, U.S. President Donald J. Trump has said that talks with Iran continue to progress “at a rapid pace.” This, following his announcement that Hezbollah and Israel will cease reciprocal strikes.

According to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) Centre, the same cargo vessel reportedly struck by an unknown projectile 40nm southeast of Umm Qasr, Iraq was impacted again by another projectile. As a result a fire started, which has now been put out. No injuries were reported.

According to a statement from the Lebanese president’s office, Lebanese officials have received confirmation of Lebanese Hezbollah’s (LH) commitment to cease strikes on Israel, following U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s announcement that during a call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister agreed to do the same. Per the statement, President Trump was able to negotiate such an outcome by using both the U.S. ambassador to Lebanon and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun as intermediaries between the U.S. and LH.

Following UKMTO’s report of a commercial vessel impacted twice 40nm southeast of Umm Qasr, Iraq, the IRGC has said that they targeted the MSC Sariska V with a cruise missile in retaliation for this weekend’s U.S. disabling of a Gambian-flagged vessel in the Gulf of Oman.

U.S. President Donald J. Trump told ABC News on Monday he thinks he will have an agreement with Iran to extend the ceasefire and reopen the Strait of Hormuz “over the next week.” Adding that a deal is, “Looking good, looking good,” while referencing today’s spat between Israel and Iran over Israel’s continued military operations in Lebanon, calling it a “little glitch,” and stating, “So, I spoke with Hezbollah, and I said no shooting, and I talked to Bibi [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu], and said, no shooting, and they both stopped shooting each other.”

In a post moments ago on TruthSocial, President Trump again referenced his calls earlier today with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and representatives of Hezbollah, in which he allegedly asked both sides to stop “shooting” at each other and for Israel to halt a major raid of Beirut. Trump closes the post by stating, “Let's see how long that lasts — Hopefully it will be for ETERNITY!”

Despite claims earlier by President Trump that both Israel and Hezbollah have agreed to “stop shooting,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu states that the Israel Defense Force will continue operating against Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon.

During a call between the two leaders earlier today, President Trump lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over Israel’s escalation in Lebanon and its chance at damaging peace talks with Iran, at one point calling Netanyahu “crazy” and accused him of ingratitude, two U.S. officials and a third source briefed on the call told Axios.

Summarizing President Trump’s remarks to Netanyahu, a U.S. official said to Axios: “You're fucking crazy. You'd be in prison if it weren't for me. I'm saving your ass. Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this.” While a second source briefed on the call said Trump was “pissed” and at one point yelled at Netanyahu: “What the fuck are you doing?”
