U.S. President Donald J. Trump confirms that negotiations are currently ongoing with Iran, but reiterates that they cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon, claiming that if Iran were able to manufacture such a weapon there would be nuclear war in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

As the conflict in the Middle East against Iran looks like it may soon resume, Americans continue to grow more and more disillusioned with the Trump Administration, with the latest Fox News Poll showing that President Trump’s job performance disapproval rating has reached 61%.

According to the Washington Post, citing a Department of War assessment they were given the details of, the U.S. used more high-end missile interceptors defending Israel than Israel used themselves. Per the report, citing U.S. officials speaking on the condition of anonymity, the U.S. used more than 200 Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) interceptors and 100 SM-3 and SM-6 interceptors during operations to defend Israel.

In stark contrast to the U.S. expenditure of munitions, Israel fired 90 David’s Sling interceptors and under 100 Arrow interceptors in defense of its own territories. Per one U.S. official, “In total, the U.S. shot around 120 more interceptors and engaged twice as many Iranian missiles.”

However, the report does say, citing a U.S. official, that such a dynamic, where U.S. interceptors bear the brunt of incoming fires, was previously agreed upon when U.S. and Israeli military decision-makers were planning out how to employ an extensive joint anti-access area-denial (A2/AD) framework.

President Donald J. Trump has announced via Truth Social that the U.S. is sending an additional 5,000 troops to Poland following the election of his endorsed candidate, Karol Nawrocki. The move would further expand the U.S. military presence on NATO’s eastern flank amid ongoing security concerns in Eastern Europe and the war in neighboring Ukraine. It remains unclear whether these forces would come from the 5,000 U.S. troops previously slated for withdrawal from Germany or represent an overall increase in American troop levels in Europe.

According to a release from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and a statement from U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Cuban national Adys Lastres Morera, sister of the executive director of the Cuban military’s GAESA, Ania Guillermina Lastres Morera, was arrested after her lawful permanent resident status was revoked.
