Following a number of deadly strikes earlier today by the U.S. Air Force targeting the B1 Bridge in the Northern Iranian city of Karaj, one of the tallest bridges in the Middle East, which allegedly killed at least eight and injured dozens more, a U.S. official told Reuters that the strike was military justified, as it was aimed at “eliminating a planned military supply route for sustaining Iran's ballistic missile and attack drone force.”

Following today’s removal of Pam Bondi as U.S. Attorney General and last month’s replacement of Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, several people familiar with the White House’s plans tell The Atlantic there are active discussions about other senior officials soon leaving the Trump Administration, including FBI Director Kash Patel, Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll, and Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer.

Jared Wise, a Former FBI Agent who was prosecuted for his role in the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol in 2021, with him filmed telling other rioters to kill police officers protecting the Capitol, and who was later pardoned and given a position in the Trump Administration’s Justice Department, today announced his resignation as counselor to Pardon Attorney Ed Martin at the U.S. Department of Justice.
