According to a statement from French President Emmanuel Macron, he spoke with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian today on the ongoing conflict between the U.S./Israel and Iran. In the statement, President Macron said he urged his Iranian counterpart to stop strikes on regional nations while also reiterating that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Additionally, he also said that “Only a new political and security framework can ensure peace and security for all.”

U.S. President Donald J. Trump told the Financial Times today that NATO nations face a “very bad” outlook if they fail to seriously aid in efforts to open the Strait of Hormuz, amidst the ongoing conflict between Iran and the U.S./Israel. Additionally, President Trump also floated delaying his visit to China for a summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping later this month should they also fail to aid in efforts to open the strait, adding that nations who benefit the most from trade through the strait should be more invested in its reopening.

The Dubai Media Office confirms that a fire is actively burning in the vicinity of Dubai International Airport, following a “drone-related incident.”

Earlier, U.S. President Donald J. Trump voiced his displeasure with Iranian misinformation and disinformation campaigns, highlighting Iranian and Pro-Iranian actors’ use of AI to create videos and photos depicting events that either did not happen or were seriously exaggerated. Additionally, following reports that 5 U.S. tankers “and others” were struck in an Iranian strike and damaged, the President said that only one was damaged and being repaired whilst all others remain airworthy and operational. The President also floated the idea of charging media outlets and personalities that disseminate false information with treason.

Flights have been temporary suspended at Dubai International Airport, following a number of drone attacks tonight by Iran.

Trump is working to assemble a multinational coalition of countries to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and hopes to announce it later this week, four sources tell Axios, while also weighing a seizure of Iran's critical oil depot on Kharg Island - a move that would require U.S. boots on the ground in Iran - if tankers remain bottled up in the Persian Gulf.

According to Marine Traffic, the first non-Iranian tanker transited the Strait of Hormuz with its AIS on early Monday. The Aframax tanker Karachi, carrying Abu Dhabi’s Das crude transited the strait safely without being targeted by Iran.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer spoke today on the nature of a potential plan to form a coalition to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, saying that any plan must be a “credible viable plan.” Both intra-European and European-U.S. discussions have been ongoing on a plan to reopen the strait near Iran.

Following an Iranian cyberattack against global medical-equipment firm Stryker, U.S. officials have told the Wall Street Journal that the U.S. should expect more disruptive cyber attacks from Iran or cyber threat-actors backed by Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS).

The Israel Defense Force (IDF) said that they began “limited and targeted ground operations” against Lebanese Hezbollah (LH) positions today in Southern Lebanon. The IDF states that operations will include dismantling terrorist infrastructure, creating an “additional layer of security for residents of northern Israel,” and the elimination of any LH elements operating in the area.

The Head of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has posted an update for Day 16 of Operation Epic Fury from Admiral Brad Cooper. More than 6,000 combat flights have been completed in support of the operation, striking thousands of targets across Iran, including missile and drone storage and manufacturing facilities operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told CNBC on Monday that the upcoming meeting between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, which is scheduled for later this month, may be delayed due to logistics amid the Iran War. Though he stated a delay was possible, Bessent denied that it could result from statement made yesterday by Trump to the Financial Times, in wish he stated he may delay his meeting with Xi if China refused to help unblock the Strait of Hormuz.

The UAE Ministry of Defense announces that the country’s air defense systems have intercepted six ballistic missiles and 21 one-way attack drones launched so far today by Iran. In total since the start of Operation Epic Fury, the Emirati Armed Forces have intercepted 304 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,627 drones launched by Iran.

According to Stars & Stripes, a third sailor assigned to the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) was injured in last week's fire aboard the ship that started within the laundry spaces and is in stable condition after being transported from the ship to a hospital to receive further medical care. The other two sailors have since returned to duty.

During an interview Sunday with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), the UAE’s Minister for International Cooperation Reem Al-Hashimy said that the United Arab Emirates is “doubling down” on its agreements with the United States following continued attacks by Iran.

“Our relationship with the U.S. is a longstanding strategic partnership. It’s a partnership that doesn’t falter in moments of crisis, but has been built on decades of trust and mutual respect,” Al-Hashimy said, adding that “this doesn’t deter us, because we’re also a resilient bunch, and we don’t take to being bullied around, either.”

Al-Hashimy described Iran’s attacks over the last two weeks as “almost unhinged” and said it will not change the “dynamics” of Abu Dhabi’s agreements with the U.S. and Israel. “If anything, we are doubling down on our friends. We are further cementing the strong ties that bind us.”
