Strikes reported against the Saqr Camp, a major weapons depot and military installation to the south of Baghdad, Iraq, which is primarily used by the Iranian-backed Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).

According to a statement from the U.S. Navy's 5th Fleet, headquartered at Naval Support Activity Bahrain, the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) had a fire that originated in the laundry spaces and was non-combat related and is contained. Two sailors are being medically treated and are in stable condition. The statement goes on to say that there is no damage to the propulsion plant and the ship remains fully mission capable. The Ford's last known position was in the Northern Red Sea.

U.S. President Donald J. Trump will issue a temporary waiver of the Jones Act in response to climbing oil prices, according to a report from Bloomberg. The Jones Act restricts the shipment of cargo between U.S. ports to only U.S.-flagged vessels. The 30-day waivers would allow foreign-flagged vessels to transport petroleum products from the U.S. Gulf Coast to ports on the East and West Coasts of the United States.

Two people were injured and a gunman killed as a result an active shooter incident this morning at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, only miles from Naval Station Norfolk, the largest naval base in the world and the homeport for the U.S. Atlantic Fleet. The shooting took place shortly before 10:49a.m., when a gunman opened fire inside ODU’s Constant Hall, with local and state law enforcement investigating possible motives, assistance is also being provided by the FBI.

While testifying today in front of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Gen. Alexus G. Grynkewich, the Commander of the U.S. European Command and Supreme Allied Commander Europe, said:

“What I've observed over the course of studying air power in history is that anytime you attack a civilian population, you usually end up finding that it just hardens their resolve. We take this all the way back to the London Blitz in World War II. The Brits just had a stiff upper lip and kept on fighting. And I think that's what we've seen in Ukraine as well.”

The Israel Defense Force has released footage of strikes recently on security checkpoints and personnel in Tehran under the Basij Force, a paramilitary volunteer militia within Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Reports of a serious incident ongoing at Temple Israel, a Reform Jewish synagogue and school in West Bloomfield, Michigan, with an individual said to have driven a vehicle into the building before opening fire. Authorities are on-scene and have told nearby residents to shelter-in-place until further notice.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced the loss of a KC-135 “Stratotanker” Aerial-Refueling Tankers in an incident over Western Iraq, after reportedly colliding with another aircraft that has since landed safely. Rescue efforts are ongoing. CENTCOM states this was not due to friendly or hostile fire by Iran.

According to CBS News, the other aircraft involved in the crash of a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker tonight over Western Iraq was another KC-135, with the tanker that went down in Iraq carrying a total of six servicemembers, while the other tanker was able to safely return to Israel.

Large fires are burning at a Joint Kurdish Peshmerga-French ​Patrol Base near Makhmour in Erbil, Northern Iraq, following an Iranian drone strike that injured at least six soldiers with the French Army.

According to CBS News, an Iranian ship approached the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) recently in the Arabian Sea and was fired upon by a Mark-45 5" Deck Gun that missed several times before an MH-60 Seahawk was launched and struck the vessel with several AGM-114 “Hellfire” Air-to-Surface Missiles.

Another MEDEVAC flight with the U.S. Air Force departed earlier today from Saudi Arabia, sources tell CBS News. The flight evacuated 19 U.S. servicemembers from Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia to a U.S. base in Germany, likely Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC) near Ramstein Air Base, with two of the servicemembers aboard the flight being injured after an Iranian one-way attack drone detonated next to their vehicle somewhere in the Middle East.

NBC News has identified the shooter from this morning's incident at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, as 36-year-old Mohamed Jalloh. Jalloh is a native of Sierra Leone who joined the U.S. Army National Guard in 2009. In 2016 he was arrested and convicted on federal charges of attempting to provide material support to ISIS and released from federal custody in 2024.

Additional details have been released about today’s attempted mass shooting at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, with reports suggesting that the intended target of the shooter, identified as Ex-National Guardsman Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, 36, was ODU’s Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC). According to reports, Jalloh stormed into a classroom inside ODU’s Constant Hall and asked if this was the ROTC. When someone confirmed that it was, he launched what is now being investigated as a terrorist attack, shooting the professor several times, resulting in the death of the retired military officer in charge of the school’s ROTC Program. However, before he could turn his gun on the rest of the class, several cadets jumped on Jalloh, with one cadet stabbing him over 22 times, killing him, likely saving dozens of lives at ODU.

Video footage published by an Iraqi outlet which appears to show 2 HC-130J Combat King IIs with the U.S. Air Force, which specialize in Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR), flying at low altitude tonight over Western Iraq, likely searching for the crash site of the KC-135 Stratotanker that crashed earlier following a mid-air collision with another KC-135.
