According to CBS, the Iranian drone strike that killed 6 U.S. soldiers in Kuwait seriously injured more U.S. servicemembers than was previously reported. According to the report, the Iranian strike, which took place in the initial round of reciprocal strikes between the U.S., Israel, and Iran, left soldiers with a myriad of injuries, including brain trauma, shrapnel wounds, and burns. Per the report, more than 30 servicemembers remain in hospitals with battle injuries from the strike. One at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, 12 at Walter Reed Medical Center in suburban Washington, D.C., and about 25 at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.
