Video footage shows an F-16E of the United Arab Emirates Air Force using an air-to-air missile to shoot down an Iranian one-way attack drone, amidst ongoing Iranian drone and ballistic missile strikes on other Gulf Nations.

According to CBS News, citing two U.S. officials with knowledge on the matter, the U.S. has lost two additional MQ-9 Reaper drones during operations against Iran. This brings the total losses of MQ-9s during the conflict with Iran to 11.

The U.S. State Department has now assisted in the evacuation of 36,000 Americans back to the United States from the Middle East, per a release from the State Department.

During a call today between U.S. President Donald J. Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, the ongoing war in Ukraine and the current Russian operational dynamic (as dictated by Russia) was reportedly the subject of part of their conversation. This news comes after an earlier statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that talks on Ukraine had been sidelined due the ongoing conflict between Iran and the U.S./Israel.

In a phone interview today with CBS News, President Donald J. Trump told Weijia Jiang that the war with Iran could be “over soon” stating that, “I think the war is very complete, pretty much. They have no Navy, no communications, they’ve got no Air Force.” He added that the United States is “very far” ahead of his initial 4-5 week estimated time frame for Operation Epic Fury.

Asked about Iran’s “newly elected” Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei during today’s interview with CBS, President Trump said, “I have no message for him. None, whatsoever.” Adding that he has someone in mind to replace Khamenei, but he did not elaborate, with Trump having previously stated that all of the successors he and other officials had in mind were already eliminated by Israel.

As the war between Iran and the United States/Israel continues, traders on Polymarket appear less than confident that Mojtaba Khamenei, son of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and now Supreme Leader of Iran, will still be the de factor leader of the country by the end of 2026, with chances currently sitting at around only 32%.

According to a release from the Israel Defense Force, the Air Force has targeted 6 Iranian military airports since the start of ongoing joint U.S.-Israeli operations against Iran.

Speaking tonight to House Republicans, President Donald J. Trump called the ongoing conflict with Iran, which so far has involved over twenty different countries, a “short-term excursion,” stating: “We took a little excursion because we felt we had to do that to get rid of some evil. Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport, Louisiana was placed on a base-wide lockdown early this morning after an unauthorized drone was spotted over the base resulting in a shelter-in-place order. Unauthorized drone flights over military installations and other critical infrastructure have been the catalyst for the Department of Defense to issue new guidance to base commanders on how to secure their installations from these overflights, following last year’s drone epidemic in Europe.

According to a release from the secure messenger app Signal, a widespread targeted phishing campaign took place that resulted in the account takeovers of a number of government officials and journalists. Per the release from Signal, the app’s encryption is not compromised, as the success of the attacks relies on users to give personal information in order to execute an account takeovers.

During an address tonight, U.S. President Donald J. Trump said that due to the current state of the Iranian Armed Forces, they could declare the war a success now or “go further” and added that “we’re going to go further.”

According to a release from the United Arab Emirates, during the drone attack last night in Erbil, Iraq, the UAE’s Consulate General was targeted. Only material damage and no injuries were reported. In the release, the UAE calls on both the Iraqi Government and the Government of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq to investigate the groups that launched the strike, likely Iranian-backed proxy groups in Iraq.
