The Saudi Ministry of Defense has announced that air defenses successfully intercepted three cruise missiles earlier outside Al-Kharj, to the south of the capital of Riyadh, that were launched by Iran.

Footage showing what appears to be an exoatmospheric ballistic missile interception, likely by a U.S. Army THAAD or U.S. Navy SM-3, earlier over Northeastern Syria near the border with Turkey. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the Iranian ballistic missile was attempting to target Incirlik Air Base, in what would be the second attack today against the territory of Turkey by Iran.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Office has just published a new advisory about a suspected attack on a merchant ship in the Northern Persian Gulf 30NM southeast of Mubarak Al Kabeer, Kuwait. The ship reported a large explosion on the port (left) side of the ship and a visible oil sheen on the water as a small craft departed the vicinity.

On Monday, a Qatari F-15QA shot down a pair of Iranian Su-24s that were detected crossing that Persian Gulf at low-altitude in the direction of Qatar, with officials telling CNN that the Su-24s came “within two minutes” of launching strikes on U.S. forces at Al Udeid Air Base.

The U.S. Department of Defense has identified the fifth soldier of six that were killed while serving with the U.S. Army’s 103rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command at the Port of Shuaiba in Kuwait on Sunday, after the Tactical Operations Center (TOC) they were in was struck by a one-way attack drone launched from Iran. The fifth soldier is identified as Maj. Jeffrey R. O'Brien, 45, of Indianola, Iowa, who died on March 1, 2026, in Kuwait.

The U.S. Department of Defense had identified who is believed to be the sixth and final reserve soldier with the U.S. Army’s 103rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command that was killed in an Iranian drone strike at the Port of Shuaiba in Kuwait on Sunday, as Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert M. Marzan, 54, of Sacramento, California, who was at the scene of the incident and has been missing since March 1, 2026. Positive identification of Chief Warrant Officer 3 Marzan will be completed by the medical examiner, as an investigation continues into the attack on the Port of Shuaiba.

Video footage has now been released of the moment the IRIS Shahid Sayyad Shirazi, a Soleimani-class corvette serving with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGCN), was targeted today by a U.S. strike off the coast of Bandar Abbas. Immediately following the strike, some kind of munition - likely an anti-ship cruise missile - is seen cooking off from the flight deck of the Shahid Sayyad Shirazi.

The Qatar Ministry of Interior announced that it is evacuating residents who live near the U.S. Embassy in Doha as a temporary precautionary measure. Out of an abundance of caution, please avoid the immediate area of the U.S. Embassy.

After speaking to several direct sources, I now feel confident in reporting that an F-15E Strike Eagle with the U.S. Air Force crashed early Wednesday during a strike mission over Southwestern Iran. The cause of the crash is still unknown, though at least one source attributed it to Iranian air defenses, with both the Pilot and Weapon Systems Officer (WSO) able to successfully eject over Iran.

Following the crash, Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) elements with the U.S and Israeli Air Force - on standby in a neighboring country - were activated, entering Iran roughly an hour after the crash of the F-15. In the resulting operation, both crewmembers were found and safely evacuated without further incident, being transported to Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. The Pilot and WSO are claimed to suffered minor injuries but were in otherwise “good condition,” with both being airlifted for further treatment to Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan.

Further confirmation and details of the incident are expected to come at a later time from U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).
