Full update on Operation Epic Fury, the ongoing strike campaign against Iran, from the Commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), Adm. Brad Cooper:

Satellite imagery from Planet Labs has now confirmed claims made by a number of Iranian-affiliated channels over the last few days, that an Iranian one-way attack drone, or other projectile, was able to successful impact and significantly damage the U.S. Space Force’s AN/FPS-132 (Block 5) Ballistic Missile Early Warning Radar System in Qatar, which is worth roughly $1.1 billion and is the largest radar operated by the United States in the Middle East.

Democrat Sen. Andy Kim told Roll Call following today’s closed-door briefing to lawmakers regarding the ongoing conflict with Iran, that officials said they expected the U.S. death toll to rise, and that some of those deaths could be the result of Iran's targeting of embassies, with briefers alluded to the possibility of deaths not just among servicemembers.

A Kuwaiti F/A-18 Hornet was the cause of the accidental shootdown of 3 F-15E Strike Eagles in a “friendly fire” incident over the country on Sunday, not a Kuwaiti “Patriot” Surface-to-Air Missile Battery like had initially been believed, three people familiar with initial reports of the incident told the Wall Street Journal.

One F/A-18 launched three missiles against the F-15s, according to a U.S. official, with all three aircraft being hit and going down, but their pilots ejecting safely. The incident occurred soon after multiple Iranian drones had penetrated Kuwaiti air defenses, one striking a commercial port and killing six American servicemembers, with Kuwaiti officials on edge when their radars detected the jets flying in and fired on them.

According to a release from U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM), military forces under SOUTHCOM launched a joint operation with Ecuadorian forces against “Designated Terrorist Organizations in Ecuador” on March 3, 2026.

According to a release from the Israel Defense Forces, an Israeli F-35 Adir fighter jet shot down an Iranian Yak-130. This is the first shoot down of a manned fighter jet by an F-35 Adir.

The United Kingdom's Maritime Trade Office has issued a warning about an attack in the Strait of Hormuz. According to the warning, a container ship has reported being hit by an unknown projectile just above the water line causing a fire in the engine room.

The Iranian frigate, IRIS Dena, sank after an unknown vessel attacked it, according to Sri Lankan officials who responded to the Dena’s mayday calls. Early reports indicated that a foreign submarine struck the vessel while it was on the way back from a defense review in India, but Sri Lankan authorities have since denied such claims. Additional reports of over 100 Iranian sailors missing have also come in but have not yet been confirmed.

U.S. officials have now confirmed that a submarine with the U.S. Navy was responsible for the targeting this morning of the Iranian frigate, IRIS Dena, in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Sri Lanka. Over 100 sailors of the Iranian Navy remain missing following the attack, with only 32 being rescued ⁠by the Sri Lankan Navy.
