The Danish shipping and logistics company Maersk has announced that they will be suspending all future transits through the Strait of Hormuz until further notice, due to the ongoing conflict in the region between Israel, Iran, and the United States.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is alive, stating this morning on state-run television that the Interim Leadership Council is now operational and has assumed constitutional control of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Pezeshkian adds that, “We will continue the path of the Leader with strength. Our Armed Forces are crushing the bases of the enemies.”

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that a Jamaran-class corvette with the Iranian Navy was struck by U.S. Forces yesterday at the Port of Chabahar, located on the Gulf of Oman near the border with Pakistan, at the start of Operation Epic Fury. CENTCOM states that the ship is currently sinking to the bottom of the Gulf of Oman, calling on all members of Iran’s Armed Forces, Police, and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to “lay down your weapons.”

Three U.S. Servicemembers have been killed in action and five have been seriously wounded so far during Operation Epic Fury, according to a statement by U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).

These casualties are likely the result of Iranian ballistic missile and one-way attack drone strikes on bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates, with some bases suffering much more serious damage than had been previously announced by CENTCOM.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Office (UKMTO) has issued another alert of a vessel attack near the Strait of Hormuz. A vessel has reported being struck by an unknown projectile resulting in a fire that has subsequently been extinguished and the vessel is continuing on its way, as Iran continues to attack vessels in the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman.

Four B-2A “Spirit” Strategic Long-Range Stealth Bombers with the U.S. Air Force’s 509th Bomb Wing flew a round-trip strike mission early Saturday from Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, to the Middle East, via the Strait of Gibraltar and Mediterranean, supported by a number of KC-46A Pegasus from bases in Europe. According to Fox News, the B-2s dropped dozens of 2,000lb bombs on underground ballistic missile sites in Iran at the beginning stages of Operation Epic Fury.

Saudi Arabia’s de facto leader Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for the first time, has authorized the Royal Saudi Armed Forces to strike back against Iran if necessary, calling attempted attacks by Iran against the east of the country and Riyadh “cowardly,” and stating that Iran knows that Saudi Airspace was not used for strikes against it by Israel or the United States, according to CNN.
