Two European officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity to describe sensitive information, said their countries were asked Monday by the Trump Administration to share intelligence on possible targets within Iran, according to the Washington Post.

An Israeli Boeing 767-338ER, known as the “Wing of Zion” which operates as an Air Force One for the Prime Minister and President, suddenly departed Nevatim Airbase in Southern Israel earlier this morning bound for the Greek island of Crete, similar to what was seen in the lead up to previous strikes against Iran. After landing in Greece, the Boeing 767 made a quick turn around and is now returning to Israel, in a reported “evacuation drill” by the Israeli Air Force.

No immediate signs of a large-scale evacuation of troops from Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar as took place in the hours before an Iranian missile attack last year, with today’s advised departure of some personnel from the base more of a “posture change” rather than an “ordered evacuation,” a diplomat told Reuters.

Some personnel and servicemembers are being withdrawn from several U.S. military bases across the Middle East as a “precaution given elevated regional tensions,” a U.S. official tells Reuters.

In a post this morning on Truth Social, President Donald J. Trump continued his threats against Denmark and Greenland, reiterating claims that the United States needs Greenland for “National Security.” Trump states that Greenland is vital for his “Golden Dome,” adding, “NATO becomes far more formidable and effective with Greenland in the hands of the UNITED STATES. Anything less than that is unacceptable.”

Denmark is deploying an “advance command” to Greenland consisting of military material support and forward personnel, ahead of a large force from the Army that is expected to arrive soon on the territory, in addition to aircraft from the Royal Danish Air Force, according to the Greenland based newspaper Sermitsiaq.

Qatar has now confirmed the departure of certain personnel from Al Udeid Air Base, citing “currents regional tensions” surrounding Iran.

Denmark’s Ministry of Defense, in coordination with the Government of Greenland and other NATO Allies, has announced that there will be an “increased military presence” in and around Greenland beginning today, including aircraft, ships, and soldiers of the Danish Armed Forces, as well as additional forces from other members of NATO.

According to the statement, the enhanced presence is meant to reinforce and bolster security efforts in the Arctic and Northern Atlantic, with activities including the guarding of installations critical to security, assistance to authorities in Greenland including the police, receiving allied troops, deploying fighter aircraft in and around Greenland, and naval task solving by the Danish Navy.

The U.S. State Department has directed staff as well as other Americans to avoid and limit all non-essential travel to military installations in the Middle East, according to the Saudi state-owned channel Al-Arabiya.

The United States has begun the process of evacuating hundreds of troops from Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the largest air base in the Middle East, ahead of potential military action ordered by President Donald J. Trump against Iran. Troops at the base are being moved to other facilities and hotels in the region, taking them out of harm's way should an attack trigger retaliation from Iran, according to a U.S. official and a person familiar with the matter who spoke to NBC News.

Two European officials told Reuters that military intervention by the United States against Iran appeared likely, with one saying it could come in the next 24 hours.

Similar to what was seen prior to last June’s strikes against underground nuclear-enrichment facilities in Iran, sources state that military aircraft stationed at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, including roughly a dozen aerial-refueling tankers with the U.S. Air Force, have been or are preparing to be evacuated to other bases in and outside of the Middle East.

Satellite imagery from last year showed Al Udeid entirely evacuated of aircraft by June 17, prior to the U.S. bombing of nuclear sites in Iran on June 22 and Iran’s retaliatory ballistic missile attack against the base on June 23.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke Monday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss the situation in Iran and the possible response by the United States, with another call planned for Wednesday, officials tell Axios.

An Airbus KC3 Voyager with the British Royal Air Force that arrived in the Middle East on Tuesday, flew this morning from RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus to Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, and is now returning to RAF Akrotiri, likely evacuating personnel prior to upcoming strikes against Iran.

Britain is withdrawing some personnel from Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar ahead of possible strikes against Iran by the United States, according to The i Paper.

Sweden’s Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has announced that several officers from the Swedish Armed Forces will arrive in Greenland on Wednesday at the request of Denmark, in order to support military and security operations on the territory and in the Northern Atlantic under the recently unveiled Operation Arctic Endurance.

The German flagship carrier Lufthansa has told employees to immediately prepare to leave Israel and will cancel all flights to and from the country beginning Thursday, due to heightened tensions in the region related to Iran.
