One of the U.S. Air Force C-17A Globemaster IIIs that arrived at RAF Fairford from Campbell Army Airfield in Kentucky earlier tonight, has departed Fairford and is now on approach to land at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

Several C-17A Globemaster IIIs from Hunter Army Airfield in Georgia and Campbell Army Airfield in Kentucky, are continuing to cross the Atlantic tonight bound for the United Kingdom.

Japan’s Ministry of Defense has announced that they, alongside South Korea and the United States, are closely analyzing Saturday’s launch of two ballistic missiles by North Korea into the Sea of Japan, with both missiles said to have flown in “irregular trajectories” and landed outside of the Japanese Exclusive Economic Zone.

Flights across Greece were grounded and the country’s airspace emptied earlier today, after a “total breakdown” of radio communication occurred, crippling air-traffic control at Athens International Airport. The cause of the incident is still unknown, however, authorities stated that it appears to have been a issue with central radio frequency systems at the Athens and Macedonia Area Control Systems, which monitor the Athens Flight Information Region (A-FIR).

Around a dozen U.S. Air Force C-17A Globemaster IIIs arrived last night at RAF Fairford in the United Kingdom, most coming from Hunter Army Airfield in Georgia or Campbell Army Airfield in Kentucky, reportedly carrying helicopters and other equipment for the U.S. Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR). Most of the C-17s have since continued on to Ramstein Air Base in Germany, though it is not known if they unloaded or loaded anything while on the ground at RAF Fairford.

Two CV-22B “Osprey” Tiltrotor Military Aircraft assigned to the U.S. Air Force’s 7th Special Operations Squadron, stationed at RAF Mildenhall, arrived today at RAF Fairford, in addition to the helicopters and other equipment with the U.S. Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) brought over from the United States.

Speaking earlier today on NBC’s Meet the Press about the operation to capture Nicolás Maduro, Secretary of State Marco Rubio made comments about future plans for Latin America.

Welker: “Is the Cuban Government the Trump Administration's next target?”

Rubio: “Well, the Cuban Government is a huge problem. Yeah.”

Welker: “Is that a yes?”

Rubio: “I think they're in a lot of trouble, yes. I’m not going to talk to you about what our future steps are going to be and our policies are going to be right now in this regard. But I don’t think it’s a mystery that we are not big fans of the Cuban Regime.”

Venezuela’s Minister of Defense Vladimir Padrino López states that many members of the security team assigned to protect Former President Nicolás Maduro were killed in yesterday’s operation by the United States, calling for calm throughout the country as well as the immediate release of Maduro.

In a telephone interview this morning with The Atlantic, President Donald J. Trump issued a threat against Venezuela’s Interim President Delcy Rodríguez, saying that, “if she doesn’t do what’s right, she is going to pay a very big price, probably bigger than Maduro,” adding that he would not stand for Rodríguez’s “defiant rejection” of military intervention by the United States.

Latvian Prime Minister Evika Siliņa states that damage has been detected to a company-owned submarine optical telecommunication cable in the Baltic Sea, off the coast of Liepāja in Southwestern Latvia, with the incident not currently effecting communication services and an investigation underway by the State Police.

All of the U.S. Soldiers and other Servicemembers that were injured in Saturday’s military operation to capture Former President Nicolás Maduro in the Venezuelan capital of Caracas are in “stable and good condition,” a senior White House official has told CNN.

The death toll from Saturday’s U.S. military operation in Venezuela’s capital of Caracas has risen to 80, including both civilians and security forces, according to a senior Venezuelan official who spoke to the NYT.
