Two German Eurofighter Typhoons and a pair of Romanian F-16s were scrambled this morning from Mihail Kogălniceanu and Câmpia Turzii Air Bases in Romania, after a Russian one-way attack drone violated Romanian Airspace during today’s attack on Ukraine. The drone initially entered Romania and flew roughly eight kilometres between Periprava and Chilia Veche in Tulcea County, before crossing back over into Ukraine, then Moldova, before finally reentering Romania and heading towards Foltești in Galați where its radar signal was lost by the Romanian Air Force.

According to the wording of the Epstein Files Transparency Act (H.R.4405), signed yesterday by both the House and Senate and now heading to the desk of President Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondi is able to withhold any information that:
(A) contain personally identifiable information of victims or victims' personal and medical files and similar files, the disclosure of which would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy;
(B) depict or contain child sexual abuse materials (CSAM) as defined under 18 U.S.C.
2256 and prohibited under 18 U.S.C. 2252-
2252A;
(C) would jeopardize an active federal investigation or ongoing prosecution, provided that such withholding is narrowly tailored and temporary;
(D) depict or contain images of death, physical abuse, or injury of any person; or
(E) contain information specifically authorized under criteria established by an Executive Order to be kept secret in the interest of national defense or foreign policy and are in fact properly classified pursuant to such Executive Order.
H.R.4405 states that all redactions must be accompanied by a written justification published in the Federal Register and submitted to Congress.

Poland has announced that it will be closing the last remaining Russian consulate in the country, located within the city of Gdańsk, in response to Sunday’s act of sabotage against critical railway lines in Poland, which was reportedly carried out by operatives with the Russian Security Services (FSB) who have since fled into Belarus.

According to the Financial Times’ @ChristopherJM, the 28-point peace proposal being secretly and hastily discussed between President Trump’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Russian Envoy Kirill Dmitriev are just the maximum demands previously given by Russia, which includes cutting the Ukraine Army in half, giving up certain long-range weapons and other equipment considered a threat by Russia, the surrender of both the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts in Eastern Ukraine to Russia, and the removal of President Volodymyr Zelensky.
