After passing the U.S. House of Representatives earlier today, the bill directing the Justice Department to release all files related to their case against convicted sex offender and trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, has unanimously been passed by the Senate, with the bill being passed immediately, without any of the amendments urged this morning by House Speaker Mike Johnson and certain other Republicans. The bill now heads to the Resolute Desk, where it will hopefully be signed by President Donald J. Trump.

U.S. President Donald J. Trump announced tonight - following today’s meeting at the White House with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman - that the United States would be formally designating Saudi Arabia as a Major Non-NATO Ally (MNNA). Saudi Arabia is the twentieth country to receive this designation, joining a short-list of nations that are seen as the closest allies to the U.S. outside of NATO, and include such countries as Australia, Colombia, Israel, Japan, Pakistan, South Korea and Qatar.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has signed an order introducing the Third Alarm Level under the Anti-Terrorism Act (CHARLIE), deploying additional police and military forces to areas of the country which contain critical railway lines managed by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. and PKP Linia Hutnicza Szerokotorowa, effective until February 28, 2026. This follows several successful and attempted acts of sabotage on railway lines in Poland over the last few days, committed by operatives working for the Russian Security Service.

President Donald J. The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces reports the scramble of aircraft with Polish and Allied Air Forces over Poland, in response to an ongoing drone and missile attack by Russia against targets on the Territory of Ukraine. NATO fighter jets and an early-warning aircraft have been scrambled, and ground-based air defense systems as well as radio detection and ranging reconnaissance systems have been raised to a state of maximum readiness across Poland.

Major air operations by NATO Air Forces are ongoing now over Poland, amidst a large-scale drone and missile attack by Russia against Ukraine. A NATO E-3A “Sentry” Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Aircraft and an Airbus A330 Multirole Tanker Transport (MRTT) are currently up and orbiting over Eastern Poland, while a Polish Saab 340 Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Aircraft heads east towards the border with Belarus and Ukraine, and a Spanish Airbus A400M Atlas - potential operating as an aerial-refueling tanker - has taken off from Lithuania and is heading south in the direction of Poland.

While leaving the State Dinner tonight at the White House, House Speaker Mike Johnson said he was “deeply disappointed” in the Senate’s decision to unanimously pass the bill calling for the release of the Epstein Files without the amendments he suggested earlier today alongside other House Republicans.

Two German Eurofighter Typhoons and a pair of Romanian F-16s were scrambled this morning from Mihail Kogălniceanu and Câmpia Turzii Air Bases in Romania, after a Russian one-way attack drone violated Romanian Airspace during today’s attack on Ukraine. The drone initially entered Romania and flew roughly eight kilometres between Periprava and Chilia Veche in Tulcea County, before crossing back over into Ukraine, then Moldova, before finally reentering Romania and heading towards Foltești in Galați where its radar signal was lost by the Romanian Air Force.
