Statement now from the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces confirming that Russian drones have crossed into Poland:

“Attention, during today's attack by the Russian Federation targeting objects located on Ukrainian territory, our airspace was repeatedly violated by drone-type objects.

An operation is underway aimed at identifying and neutralizing the objects. On the orders of the Operational Commander of the Polish Armed Forces, weaponry has been deployed, and services are actively working to locate the downed objects.

We emphasize that the military operation is ongoing, and we urge people to stay at home. The most affected areas are the Podlaskie, Mazowieckie, and Lubelskie voivodeships.

The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces is monitoring the current situation, and the forces and resources under its command remain fully prepared for immediate response.”

Residents in Eastern Poland are urged to shelter-in-place by the Polish Armed Forces, who emphasize that a military operation is ongoing, adding that the most affected areas are the Podlaskie, Mazowieckie, and Lubelskie Voivodeships along the border with Belarus and Ukraine.

Poland’s Deputy Defence Minister states that all security services have been placed on high alert, with an operation underway to neutralize “intruders” that have violated Polish Airspace, adding that the military is in constant contact with both President Karol Nawrocki and Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk: “An operation is underway related to multiple violations of Polish airspace. The military used armaments against the objects. I am in constant contact with the President and the Minister of Defense. I received a direct report from the operational commander.”

The Chief of General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, Gen. Wiesław Kukuła, states that the operation to shoot down Russian one-way attack drones that have crossed into Poland is still ongoing, with him calling for residents to “be patient regarding updates.”

U.S. Secretary of State and National Security Advisor Marco Rubio states that he has been briefed on the intrusion of Russian one-way attack drones over Poland.

Two more drones have exited the Volyn Oblast in Western Ukraine heading towards Brest, Belarus and Northeastern Poland.

Air-launched cruise missiles launched by Russia have now entered the airspace over Northeastern Ukraine.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk is present at the military command center overseeing operations to neutralize Russian drones over Poland, according to the Deputy Defence Minister.

Poland’s Minister of Defense, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, has stated that the military is in “close contact” with other members and the leadership of NATO.

Roughly two dozen cruise missiles, launched from long-range and tactical bombers over Western Russia and naval vessel in the Black Sea, have been launched against Ukraine within the last hour, while several groups of one-way attack drones continue to fly over Northern Ukraine towards Poland.

Around 30–40 air and surface-launched cruise missiles have now been launched by Russia against Ukraine, with most appearing to be heading west towards the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv and the western regions of Ukraine near Poland.

Russian air and surface-launched cruise missiles are continuing to head west over Ukraine.

The Polish National Security Bureau has stated President Karol Nawrocki is being kept informed of all violations of Poland’s Airspace tonight by Russian one-way attack drones, added “We ask you to follow the announcements and rely on information coming from the strategic commands of the Polish Armed Forces and services. We express immense gratitude to all those involved in protecting Polish skies. We also ask everyone to remain calm.”

It’s appears this may just be people returning to Caracas from tonight’s “Venezuela vs Colombia” World Cup Qualifier in Maturin, which Columbia won 6-3.

Several of the drones that entered Polish Airspace were then shot down, with efforts underway to search for and locate the possible crash sites of these objects in Eastern Poland.
