The 40th Coastal Defense Brigade of the Ukrainian Marine Corps eliminated a number of Russians that were attempting to cross the Dnipro Delta on a boat in the Kherson Oblast of Southern Ukraine.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced today during his visit to Ecuador, that the United States would be designating two Ecuadorian-based gangs, Los Choneros and Los Lobos, as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO) and Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGT), a move welcomed by Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa, who has also requested that U.S. Soldiers be deployed to Ecuador to assist in combating the gangs that have plagued the country since at least 2019. In addition, Rubio announced that the U.S. would provide $13.5 Million “to help Ecuador improve its ability to provide security for its citizens, take on and combat drugs and crime,” as well as another $6 Million in drones for the Ecuadorian Navy.

Two Venezuelan F-16s armed with air-to-surface missiles carried out a low-altitude flyover of the USS Jason Dunham (DDG-109) earlier today in the Southern Caribbean Sea, as a reported “Show of Force” against the U.S. Navy. The Jason Dunham is one of several Arleigh Burke-Class Guided-Missile Destroyers currently deployed in the Southern Caribbean, carrying out counter-cartel and narcotics operations off the coast of Venezuela.

U.S. President Donald J. Trump will reportedly sign an Executive Order on Friday renaming the Department of Defense to the Department of War, the former name for the Department of the Army and Air Force, before all of the branches were united under the National Military Establishment (NME) in 1947, eventually being renamed to the Department of Defense in 1949. As a result of this name change, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is expected to become Secretary of War.

The legality of this name change without congressional approval is currently unknown, though it is unlikely to be challenged in Federal Court. The name change will likely cost several hundred million, up to a billion, to implement at the Pentagon and at other facilities across the World.

The U.S. Department of Defense has released a statement confirming today’s flyover of the USS Jason Dunham (DDG-109) in the Southern Caribbean Sea by F-16s of the Bolivarian Military Aviation of Venezuela.

According to U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), American and African Partner Forces came under “indirect fire” earlier today near Kismayo, Somalia, with no injuries or casualties being reported amongst U.S. Forces. This follows reports of a mortar attack Thursday against Camp Kismayo, which was claimed by Al-Shabaab.

The Pentagon has approved the use of Naval Station Great Lakes to the north of Chicago, which serves as the sole basic training base for the U.S. Navy, by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for immigration operations, with upwards of 300 agents with both DHS and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) expected to utilize the base for planning, logistics and housing, as a large-scale arrest campaign for illegal immigrants will reportedly begin next week in the Chicago Metropolitan Area.

An exclusive released today by the New York Times has revealed details about an until-now unknown failed top-secret operation carried out by the U.S. Navy’s SEAL Team Six against North Korea in 2019, under direct orders from President Donald J. Trump. The goal of the operation was said to have been the installation of surveillance equipment capable of eavesdropping on communications made by North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un, during at the time, ongoing high-level nuclear talks with the United States. 

During the operation, SEALs infiltrated the waters around North Korea using several mini-subs deployed from a nuclear-powered submarine at around midnight in February 2019, landing on the shore wearing black wetsuits and night-vision goggles. However, moments later, a boat appeared out of the dark, with flashlights sweeping over the shore and the water. Fearing that they had been spotted, the SEALs opened fire, killing everyone on the boat, who later turned out to be North Korean fishermen. The SEALs then retreated back to the mini-sub, declaring the mission a failure. 

The U.S. Department of Defense has ordered the deployment of 10 F-35 Lightning IIs to an airfield in Puerto Rico to combat the cartels, as the buildup of American naval and air assets continues to grow in the Southern Caribbean and off the coast of Venezuela, according to Reuters.

In addition to the failed operation in 2019, the exclusive also revealed minor details about another covert operation inside North Korea by U.S. Navy in 2005. In which SEALs once again used a mini-sub to go ashore in North Korea to carry out a still-unknown mission, before leaving unnoticed. The 2005 operation, which appears to have been successful, was carried out under orders from President George W. Bush.

Former President Joe Biden, aged 82, recently underwent Mohs surgery to remove skin cancer lesions, according to his Spokeswoman Kelly Scully. The statement came after Biden was seen leaving a church service in Delaware with a large scar and bandages on the his forehead, with him previously having had another lesion removed from his chest during a physical exam at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in 2023.

The U.S. Department of Defense today cancelled a classified briefing for congressional leaders and key committees on the recent military strike against a vessel linked to drug trafficking off the coast of Venezuela, according to the AP.

Officials state they do not currently know how much it will cost to implement President Trump’s Executive Order renaming the Department of Defense to the Department of War, claiming that the cost will “fluctuate.”

U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has already changed his account to Secretary of War.

Changes to signage have already begun within the Pentagon.

U.S. President Donald J. Trump states that fighter jets with the Bolivarian Military Aviation of Venezuela will be “shot down” if they “put us in a dangerous position.” This follows the reported low-altitude flyover of the USS Jason Dunham (DDG-109) yesterday in the Southern Caribbean Sea by a pair of armed Venezuelan F-16s.

The U.S. Department of Defense account has now also been changed to the Department of War.
