In a hot-mic conversation between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russia’s Vladimir Putin captured by the Chinese-state media broadcaster CCTV prior to yesterday’s celebration and military parade in Beijing, the two leaders can be heard discussing human organ transplants and the possibility of living to 150 or even forever. While walking towards Tiananmen Square for the parade, Putin’s translator could be heard saying in Chinese, “Biotechnology is continuously developing.” The translator added, after an inaudible passage by Putin to Xi, “human organs can be continuously transplanted. The longer you live, the younger you become, and (you can) even achieve immortality.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Denmark where he will meet today with the Heads of State of the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8), which includes Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden. Tomorrow, Zelensky will travel to Paris to meet with a number of other European leaders, as well as possibly U.S. President Donald J. Trump.

U.S. Marines and Sailors with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (22nd MEU), part of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) which consists of the USS Iwo Jima (LHD-7), USS Fort Lauderdale (LPD-28) and USS San Antonio (LPD-17), have begun amphibious landing exercises in Southern Puerto Rico, only around 500 miles north of Venezuela. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Paris, alongside Finland’s President Alexander Stubb, for tomorrow’s meeting of the “Coalition of the Willing” which will be virtually attended by U.S. President Donald J. Trump.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has told the Trump Administration that Israeli plans to annex large portions of the West Bank would harm the Abraham Accords and likely end any chance of expanding them to other countries in the region, such as Jordan and Saudi Arabia, according to two sources with knowledge of the matter who spoke with Axios.

The Emiratis have made clear in private and in public that they see annexation of parts of the West Bank as a “red line” for relations between Israel and the UAE, “These plans, if carried out, will do substantial damage to the UAE-Israel relationship. And they will irreparably damage whatever remains of the vision of regional integration. In many ways, the choice before Israel right now is annexation or integration,” a senior Emirati official told Axios.

The Danish Government announced Wednesday that the Ukrainian defense manufacturer Fire Point, who produces the “Flamingo” Long-Range Cruise Missile for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, will begin the production of fuel for long-range missiles at a new complex near Skydstrup Air Force Base in Denmark.

According to several channels linked to Ukrainian Intelligence, the Russian Air Force suffered immense technical issues during its latest missile attack against Ukraine, on September 2-3, resulting in them only being able to launch roughly 8 of 40 air-launched cruise missiles intended for strikes against cities in Western Ukraine.
