Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced today in a statement that he has instructed the Israel Defense Force to prepare an enforcement plan against Iran following the end of “Operation Rising Lion” that includes: maintaining Israel’s air superiority over Iran, preventing nuclear advancement and missile production, and responding to any Iranian supported terror activity against Israel. Hundreds of false reports have been going around for the last few hours on X claiming that a “Black Electric Mercedes Sprinter Van” belonging to Amazon exploded earlier in Washington, D.C. with some even alleging that it occurred near the White House. Almost none of this is true. According to authorities in Arlington, Virginia, not Washington, “Units responded to a fully involved vehicle fire on the 2200 block of S Clark St. that was extending into the bushes. E105 quickly extinguished the delivery vehicle fire. No injuries to the driver or firefighters. Fire marshals will be investigating the cause.” The Arlington County Fire Department (ACFD) later clarified that there was no explosion, and that the fire started as a result of an engine malfunction in a gas-powered delivery van being used by Amazon.

Reports that several firefighters have been ambushed and shot while responding to what appears to have been an intentionally set brush fire near Coeur d'Alene in Northern Idaho. Police are said to currently be in a firefight with one or more suspects shooting down from a hill towards first responders, with assistance being requested from Spokane, Washington.
