The more time that passes without a fiery post by President Trump on Truth Social about the attack, the more I am convinced he is actually going to take this as an “off-ramp” and not retaliate with further strikes against Iran.

So far Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Yemen, and the Palestinian Authority have all condemned tonight’s ballistic missile attack by Iran against Al Udeid Airbase in Qatar.

U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, has remained in contact with Iranian officials since U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities over the weekend, two sources familiar with the matter told CNN, as President Trump continues to seek out a diplomatic resolution to the conflict between Iran and Israel.

President Trump further states that “NO Americans were harmed, and hardly any damage was done.” Closing the statement, Trump says, “I want to thank Iran for giving us early notice, which made it possible for no lives to be lost, and nobody to be injured. Perhaps Iran can now proceed to Peace and Harmony in the Region.”

According to @BarakRavid of Axios, “A White House official told me that Trump's goal now is to end the war and he is going to make it clear to Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “We want a deal and don't want any more war,” the official said”

The U.S. Embassy in Qatar has lifted its shelter-in-place order issued earlier today, adding that the Embassy and Consular Services will reopen on Tuesday, June 24.
