The Israel Defense Force has announced that IAF fighter jets are currently striking military infrastructure in and around Kermanshah in Western Iran.

Channels associated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) are claiming to have downed a drone belonging to the Israeli Air Force, possibly a Hermes 450 or 900, this morning over the city of Khorramabad in the Lorestan Province of Western Iran.

The Israel Defense Force has now confirmed that a drone operated by the Air Force was shot down this morning over Iran, adding that there is no risk of an information leak from the drone, believed to be a Hermes 900.

In a statement earlier today, Lt. Col. Ebrahim Zolfaghari, Spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said that in response to Saturday’s series of strikes by the U.S. against nuclear facilities inside Iran, they will carry out “powerful and targeted operations that will inflict heavy, regretful, and unprecedented upon you, god willing.”

Roughly 15 ballistic missiles were fired in four waves against Northern, Central, and Southern Israel within the last hour, with a handful of impacts, none of which caused any significant damage or injuries.
