The Israeli Air Force has begun a series of strikes against military targets in Western Iran, with fighter jets also having eliminated several ready-to-launch missiles, soldiers of the Iranian Armed Forces, and swiftly neutralized the launchers that fired ballistic missiles this morning towards Israel.

Airstrikes this morning by the Israeli Air Force against Dezful Airport in the Khuzestan Province of Southwestern Iran, targeted and destroyed a pair of F-5E Light Fighters operated by the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF).

Following yesterday’s series of strikes by the United States against nuclear facilities inside Iran, the Saudi Foreign Ministry released a statement expressing their concern with the situation, urging restraint and de-escalation, but did not go as far as directly condemning the strikes by the U.S. against Iran.

Speaking earlier to media outlets, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated regarding last night’s strikes by the U.S. against nuclear sites inside Iran, “The enemies requests for Iran to return to diplomacy are irrelevant now. The door to diplomacy is definitely closed.”

Satellite imagery shows damage to the Fordow Nuclear Facility in Central Iran, following last night’s strikes against the underground complex by the U.S. Air Force. At least six impact sites from 12 GBU-57A/B MOP (Massive Ordnance Penetrator) 30,000lb “Bunker Buster” Bombs dropped on the site by B-2A “Spirit” Long-Range Stealth Bomber can be visually seen, with the it believed that the bombs directly targeted the underground cascade hall, containing centrifuges and storage for the enrichment of weapon-grade uranium used for the potential production of nuclear weapons by Iran.

U.S. Secretary of State and National Security Advisor Marco Rubio speaking earlier today on Fox News, “If they [Iran] retaliate, it will be the worst mistake they’ve ever made. Look, we can fly in and out of Iran at will. We went in last night, the President sent our military forces from halfway across the world, went in, conducted this operation, left, not a shot was fired against us. They didn’t even know what had happened. By the time we left, the planes were already out of their airspace, before they finally started realizing they had been hit. So it would be a terrible mistake if Iran retaliates.”

At the request of the Trump Administration, the Israeli Air Force took out multiple Iranian air-defense systems in the 48 hours leading up to last night’s strike by the U.S. Air Force against the Fordow Nuclear Facility in Central Iran, three U.S. and Israeli officials told Axios. President Trump's request was made directly to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu last week, after the President decided he would move forward with a military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities unless a surprise diplomatic opportunity emerged. “How can we help?” Netanyahu asked, according to officials in Israel.

The first of several U.S. Air Force B-2A “Spirit” Long-Range Stealth Bombers seen returning to Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri within the last hour, after completing a near 40-hour strike mission, during which they dropped 14 GBU-57A/B MOP (Massive Ordnance Penetrator) 30,000lb “Bunker Buster” Bombs on two nuclear facilities in Iran, as part of “Operation Midnight Hammer.”

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has now confirmed that the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan Nuclear Facilities in Iran were targeted during last night’s strikes by the U.S. Air Force, with extensive damage being reported at all three sites, though the extent of the damage to Fordow and Natanz is currently unknown due to a vast majority of both complexes being located underground. Additionally, the IAEA states that it has been informed by Iranian regulating authorities that no increase in off-site radiation levels have been detected at any of the nuclear sites targeted in Central Iran.

The Israeli Air Force has just announced the completion of a new wave of intelligence-based strikes against military targets in Iran. During which, approximately 20 IAF fighter jets used over 30 munitions to strike storage and missile launching infrastructure sites intended to harm the State of Israel, as well as military satellites and radar sites used for creating an aerial intelligence assessment in Kermanshah and Hamedan in Western Iran, and finally a surface-to-air missile launcher located near Tehran.

U.S. President Trump announces that all the B-2A “Spirit” Long-Range Stealth Bombers and pilots which participated in “Operation Midnight Hammer” last night against nuclear facilities in Iran, have landed back at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri.

American military and intelligence officials have detected signs that Iranian-backed militias are preparing to launch drone and missile attacks on U.S. bases in Iraq, and possibly Syria, in retaliation for last night’s U.S. strikes against nuclear facilities in Iran. But so far the groups have held off, with Iraqi officials working hard to dissuade militia action, a U.S. official told the New York Times.

According to NBC News, Iran delivered a communiqué to U.S. President Trump through an intermediary at the G7 Summit last week in Canada, threatening to activate sleeper-cell terrorist groups inside the United States if it or its nuclear facilities were attacked. The Trump Administration, as well as federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies in key cities across the country, are on high alert for any potential retaliation inside the United States. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security issued a statement earlier today, warning that the “Iran conflict is causing a heightened threat environment in the United States.”

Following last night’s strikes by the United States against nuclear facilities inside Iran. The U.S. State Department has issued a “Worldwide Travel Alert” stating, “The conflict between Israel and Iran has resulted in disruptions to travel and periodic closure of airspace across the Middle East.  There is the potential for demonstrations against U.S. citizens and interests abroad.  The Department of State advises U.S. citizens worldwide to exercise increased caution.”

Israel has detected the launch of ballistic missiles from Iran, with sirens expected to sound soon across Central Israel.
