The Israeli Air Force has begun a series of strikes against military targets in Western Iran, with fighter jets also having eliminated several ready-to-launch missiles, soldiers of the Iranian Armed Forces, and swiftly neutralized the launchers that fired ballistic missiles this morning towards Israel.

Airstrikes this morning by the Israeli Air Force against Dezful Airport in the Khuzestan Province of Southwestern Iran, targeted and destroyed a pair of F-5E Light Fighters operated by the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF).

U.S. Secretary of State and National Security Advisor Marco Rubio speaking earlier today on Fox News, “If they [Iran] retaliate, it will be the worst mistake they’ve ever made. Look, we can fly in and out of Iran at will. We went in last night, the President sent our military forces from halfway across the world, went in, conducted this operation, left, not a shot was fired against us. They didn’t even know what had happened. By the time we left, the planes were already out of their airspace, before they finally started realizing they had been hit. So it would be a terrible mistake if Iran retaliates.”

President Trump's request was made directly to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu last week, after the President decided he would move forward with a military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities unless a surprise diplomatic opportunity emerged. “How can we help?” Netanyahu asked, according to officials in Israel.
