Tried to tell him there's pain here and suffering too
I tried to pray but the angels said "we're too busy for you"

At some point, life will interrupt your expectations.
Not gently. Not politely.
It will confront you with a version of reality that doesn’t match the one you built in your head.
And that moment—uncomfortable as it is—is one of the most valuable turning points you can experience.

A reality check is not there to break you.
It’s there to correct you.
Because without it, you keep moving in the wrong direction… confidently.

We all create narratives that make us feel safe.
“I have more time.”
“It’s not that serious.”
“I’ll fix it later.”
But reality doesn’t negotiate with comfort.
It responds to action, discipline, and awareness.
And when those are missing, it shows you—clearly.

That’s why these “shocks” matter.
They expose what you’ve been avoiding.
They reveal the gap between where you are and where you think you are.
They force you to see yourself without filters, without excuses, without illusions.
And while that can hurt, it also gives you something most people never fully use: Clarity.

With clarity, you stop wasting energy.
You stop lying to yourself.
You start making decisions based on truth, not hope.

Growth doesn’t come from feeling comfortable all the time.
It comes from adjustment.
From recognizing what isn’t working—and having the courage to change it.

So instead of resisting reality checks, learn to use them.
They are not punishments.
They are course corrections.
And the faster you accept them, the faster your life starts moving in the direction you actually want.

Because in the end, the people who evolve the most are not the ones who avoid hard truths.
They’re the ones who face them early… and act.
