โ€œVenezuela and Iran have 31 percent of the worldโ€™s oil reserves. Weโ€™re going to have a partnership with 31 percent of the known reserves.

This is Chinaโ€™s nightmare.โ€

An amateur scientist named Tim Friede is immune to snake venom that would otherwise kill a person.

In the last two decades, he has received over 200 bites from various deadly snakes, causing him to develop a natural immune response to the venom. He has even survived the bite of a sub-Saharan Black Mamba, which is considered to be one of the most venomous snakes on the planet.

Reflections on the revolution in france.pdf
562.1 KB
Edmund Burke (1790) argues that the French Revolution destroyed traditional institutions and social order by replacing inherited customs and historical continuity with abstract political theories.

โ€ข Burke maintains that stable societies develop gradually through tradition, precedent, and inherited institutions rather than sudden revolutionary change.
โ€ข He criticizes revolutionary thinkers for relying on abstract concepts such as universal โ€œrights of man,โ€ which he argues ignore historical experience and the practical nature of political order.
โ€ข Burke contends that dismantling long-standing institutions such as monarchy, religion, and aristocratic hierarchy risks producing instability, violence, and social disorder.
