Around 1600, Elias Geyer created this item. Inspired by the ancient sea monster “Hippocampus,” the front half of a horse like unicorn in gilded silver emerges from the shell of a turban snail. It rears up, supported by a branch, and is guided by a small figure of Neptune holding its reins. Drinking vessels shaped like these mythical creatures were especially prized at the time. They were often made from narwhal tusks, so called unicorn horns, valued for their rarity and luminous beauty.

4.15.26: The CEO of the ADL, Jonathan Greenblatt, says he is in the process of having all of Nick Fuentes’ supporters and accounts banned from Instagram and Facebook due to “hate speech.”
He says only he can decide who Americans are allowed to listen to and watch.: “We found hundreds of his accounts that continue to push out his videos.”
Not a fan of Fuentes, but good to know how they say this works. In this case the first amendment is an inconvenient roadblock that doesn’t seem to impede them.
