The Panagyurishte Gold Treasure [Thracian]

The objects were discovered in 1949 during the communist period of Bulgaria, three of the rhytons contain images of the great mother goddess โ€“ Cybele. However while in the custody of its various caretakes up to the collapse of communism, the treasure has bizarrely lost weight (suspected is theft or even substitution): "On 10.12.1949 according to information from the District People's Council of Panagyurishte โ„–5378/10.12.1949, shows that in storage at the CCA, the total weight of the treasure was 7,500 kg... The difference in the weight of the treasure from 10.12.1949 to 02.11.2012 is 1307.3g (one kilogram three hundred and seven grams and three milligrams)." (Tsvetankov, 2013)

Actaeon was a famous hero in Greek mythology. He was the son of Aristaeus, a herdsman, and Autonoe, and resided in the region of Boeotia. He was the pupil of the centaur Chiron. He somehow caused the wrath of goddess Artemis, eventually leading to his death. There are many and different recounts of the myth; however, they all revolve around the notion that he was a hunter that was transformed into a stag and was then killed by his hunting dogs. According to the most popular version, provided by Callimachus, Actaeon accidentally saw Artemis naked, while she was bathing in the woods; amazed at her beauty, he was spotted by the goddess, who told him not to speak again or he would change into a deer. Upon hearing his hunting dogs, however, Actaeon called them and immediately transformed into a deer. So, he started running into the woods, but his well-trained dogs found him and tore him to pieces.

"Clarification, how did this happen?"

โšก๏ธIn order not to be deceived, clarify exactly how your interlocutor verified the information he cites as proof of anything.

Most people do not verify what they say, or they distort the information to their advantage, expecting their lies to go unnoticed.

Even if the fact stated takes place, your opponent is unlikely to be able to cite solid evidence that will embarrass him and give you a huge advantage in the dispute.
