THE THRILL OF THE IDEAL When you set your visionary bow towards a star and stretch your wing towards such elusive excellence, eager for perfection and rebellious against mediocrity, you carry within you the mysterious spring of an Ideal. It is a sacred ember, capable of tempering you for great actions. Guard it; if you let it go out, it will never rekindle. And if it dies in you, you remain inert: cold human rubbish.
Jose Ingenieros, The mediocre man

Our entire universe is composed of light and sound, frequency and vibration. The connections between music, cosmos and nature have been known since ancient times. In 1978 Hans Cousto, a Swiss mathematician and musicologist, compared the frequencies in planetary orbits, in architectural works, in old and modern measuring systems, in the human body, in music and in medicine and “discovered” their connection. In music the 528 hertz frequency refers to the note “Mi” and is traced back to the expression “Mi-ra gestorum” on the scale, which in Latin means “miracle”.

Mira gestorum" is a line from the Latin hymn Ut queant laxis, which is also known as Hymnus in Ioannem. The hymn is a tribute to John the Baptist, and the line translates to "the wonders of your deeds".

The hymn was written in Horatian Sapphics by Paulus Diaconus, a Lombard historian from the 8th century. In the 11th century, Guido D'Arezzo used the hymn to name the sounds of the diatonic scale of Dó. The word "Ut" was replaced with "Dó" to make it easier to sing with a vowel ending. The note "Si" was added by taking the initials of the words "Sancte" and "Ioannes".

“Kaizen: The Japanese Art of Continuous Improvement”

Kaizen — the art of continuous improvement that’s not just a Japanese business mantra but a life philosophy that can transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.

The Philosophy Unveiled
Kaizen, derived from the Japanese words “kai” (change) and “zen” (good), encourages the idea that big results come from many small changes accumulated over time. It’s not about overnight transformations but rather about consistently taking steps, no matter how small, toward improvement.
