THE GATES OF THE DEEP
Think that you are not at home in this world,
but are a strange
guest in a heavy prison, imprisoned:
Cry out and plead to Him who has the key to the prison, surrender to him
surrender to him in obedience to righteousness,
discipline and truth; do not seek the
kingdom of this world so hard, it will
enough without it: so will the chastening
the chaste virgin will answer thee high
and deep in your mind, who will
lead thee unto thy bridegroom, who hath

Before him you must stand, he will give you
of the heavenly manna to eat, which will
