Assalamu alaikum warhamatullah wabarakatuhu,
This gentleman in the masjid will always place his left hand over his right on his chest during prayer...
Wait let me finish Na..
You are already saying he is wrong, it should be right over left..
Anyway, I decided to do Sunnah and whenever I pray close to him I will lift my right over left drawing his attention..
All my sign language yielded no result..
So after some time I decided to go physical as the Hadith indicates... Correct with your hands...
And that was how I realised he was physically challenged and his right can't go over his left.. and this wasn't apparent.. he walks normal, he in fact is a dry cleaner and I have observed him iron clothes..
He however is in pain whenever he tries putting his right over his left..
In a painful voice he says "I can't do it"
Sub'hanaAllah..
A lot of times because something is easy for us we think it should be for others too..
Think of the easiest thing you can do almost effortlessly.. someone is passing through hell to have it done..
Some can't no matter how much they try..
For the records.. I can't pronounce the letter "r" no matter how much I try..
So, when next you come across anyone passing through difficulty, don't judge them.. do the needful. Be emphatic, sympathetic and encourage them as the case may be.

I once had a chat with a brother and he says... "I want a woman who will wake me up for Fajr".. I laughed and said, perhaps she is somewhere saying she also wants a man who will wake her up for Fajr... So, if you both marry yourselves.. who will wake who up for Fajr??🤔
My brother go and get an alarm clock and strive to wake up for Fajr...
Also once had a conversation with a sister and she says to me ... "Brother, I know I am stubborn and that's why I want a man who is patient and accepts me for who I am"... I was like... Seriously 🤔
Let's say am a man who walks up to you and say.. I know am a womanizer and seeks a woman who cares less of this, understands and accepts me for who I am.. will you accept??
She immediately replied .. No Way!!

And, be reminded that death is inevitable...

Kindness to someone who can't repay you in any way or form is the true essence of generosity...
It may be the smallest thing you can do and or support with at that point in time, and it doesn't take anything from you or place you in any state of difficulty, but to that person it meant the entire world and they may never forget it...
You can only imagine how much du'a you will get whenever that person remembers.
The world needs more of kind people who are sincere in their kindness.
Kindness somehow always have a ripple effect.. someone who was shown kindness kind of always pay it forward..
You can as well start that chain of kindness.. imagine people emulating and continuing the chain you started. Imagine the reward.

*The story..*
A man had a dream that all his teeth fell off.
He went to an interpreter to seek meaning to his dream; the interpreter said _*"it means you will lost all members of your family"*_ the man became so worried wondering when this huge calamity will befall him that he began to discourage family gatherings...
Then he consulted another scholar who interpretes dream..
The scholar said your dream indicates _*"in your family you will be the last person to die thus living the longest"*_ this gave the man some relief believing he will have long life...

So, we shouldn't feel sad when people withdraw from us, sometimes it has nothing to do with you... They are probably fighting a battle you know absolutely nothing about...

The good news is...
Allah never gets tired... No matter how many times we ask Him sub'hanahu wa ta'ala...
He loves it when we even revisit and revisit and revisit endlessly...
As a matter of fact the more we revisit and ask Him azza wa jaal the more He sub'hanahu wa ta'ala responds and loves us...
The best part is... He doesn't shame us as a result nor does He azza wa jaal relate our weaknesses and secrets to any mortal 😍😢
He responds and grant our wishes without any drama...

Now tell me, how big is your problem again?
He is Allah, created Isa alaihi salaam from a woman without a man's interference..
Created a camel in a way we can't comprehend...
Now tell me, how big is your problem again?
He is Allah, from a seed ... Just a seed put in soil and watered, several others will sprout and become vegetation..
He sends down rain from the sky..
Remind me how great is your problem again...
No matter how massive you perceive your problem to be, it is small in the sight of Allah..

Call upon Him azza wa jaal alone without associating partners with and trust Him as you do so... And all your problems will go away by His mercy...

Had iftaar at dad's residence yesterday, so the kids were served. Umar finished eating his and stretched to reach onto his cousin's plate. I quickly cautioned him ..stay clear unless if invited..
His cousin was also encouraged to share with his brother..
Anyway, there's more where it came from and he was given till he was satisfied...
*Moral...*
I related this to sustenance, and I was like; we are bothered about our sustenance such that sometimes we are distracted by what others have.. yet the One (Allah) Who is the provider never runs out of it...
*Message..*
To all those who gave to the poor...
To all those who invited the needy to their homes...
To all those who cared and showed concern or support to those who lack...
I can only say this ....

And do not forget, Allah says;
Surah Ad-Dhuha, Verse 5:
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰ
