My people I have a beautiful anime series to suggest. It's called Dota: Dragon's blood inspired by the game.

The story, the artwork, the music among other things is just flawlessly beautiful. It's one of my most favorite anime series ever.

This is what the series is about for anyone curious:

Selemene was a mortal woman. Invoker was & is a mortal man who has a very big brain.
They fell in love and had sex. Their resultant daughter was named *Filomena*.

*Filomena* has a genetic disease (a cosmic necessity in every version of the world) that has no cure and can only have its symptoms be temporarily subdued by being near a certain type of flower that only blooms under Mene's moonlight. Without Mene's flowers, *Filomena* will eventually succumb to her symptoms and die.

Mene is NOT and has never been a mortal woman, she is a Goddess of the moon (a cosmic being).

Selemene killed Mene and took her position as the Goddess of the moon. However, taking Mene's moon powers did not allow her to produce the same moonlight needed to bloom the flower that subdues symptoms of *Filomena*'s genetic disease. So *Filomena* dies sometime after Selemene's usurpation. Also, being the "second" goddess of the moon, Selemene creates a second moon that lies between the planet and Mene's original moon, blocking it.

After Mene died, being a Goddess and not a mortal, she reincarnated in a weaker mortal form as an elf named "Fymryn". She doesn't really have memory of being Mene, participates in an elf orgy and seduces DK (who also happened to be banging another cosmic being called Mirana around the same time).

Invoker is sad that *Filomena* is dead so he takes revenge on Selemene, by working with/borrowing the power of the demon Terrorblade. But clearly, revenge does not make one's loved one come back from the dead. After some time, Fymryn ascends back into her Mene form to help DK fight Terrorblade (who has at this point betrayed Invoker, but it's actually all part of the plan *wink**wink*).

Invoker being Mr Big Brain tries to solve the problem. He creates a world where Selemene dies early/doesn't want to usurp Mene. So *Filomena* in this world gets to grow up. But turns out eventually the moon actually explodes at a certain point in the future (due to the conflict between Radiant & Dire), causing fragments from the moon to fall and cause a fatal meteor shower that destroys their planet.

Then Mr Big Brain Voker pulls a 6D chess move to have the (now-older) *Filomena* be transported back into the world where after he killed Selemene, DK and the others (Fymryn-but-now-Mene, Mirana, Kaden, etc) have also killed the betrayer Terrorblade. In this original world, the moon also eventually explodes, but because Selemene's artificial moon exists, it blocks the fragments and prevents the fatal meteor shower. While a younger version of *Filomena* did die in this version of the world, the now older *Filomena* is safely transported over and survives (alongside Mene/Fymryn).
