According to the FBI, Gothferrari helped Malone carry out the theft and was also involved in the physical robbery of a victim, stealing their Ledger wallet containing 100 BTC worth roughly $5M at the time.

BUST: This morning, May 8, 2026, German authorities shut down the relaunched darknet marketplace “Crimenetwork”, the largest criminal trading platform in the German-speaking underground, and arrested its 35-year-old German operator on Mallorca, Spain.
The platform had 22,000+ users, 100+ vendors and over €3.6M in revenue selling stolen data, drugs and fake documents. It was rebuilt just days after the original was taken down in December 2024.
€194,000 in crypto seized. Full user and transaction data now in investigators’ hands.
