A saying from Imam Jaʿfar al-Ṣādiq (Peace be upon him)
مَا نَقَلَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَبْدًا مِنْ ذُلِّ الْمَعَاصِي إِلَى عِزِّ التَّقْوَى، إِلَّا أَغْنَاهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَالٍ، وَأَعَزَّهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ عَشِيرَةٍ، وَآنَسَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ بَشَرٍ.
— al-Kāfī
“Whenever Allah brings a person from the humiliation of sin to the dignity of taqwā, He enriches them without wealth, gives them honor without the backing of a clan, and gives them companionship without people.”
A person may have wealth, but their heart is not dependent on wealth for its sense of security. They may have a loving family and strong social ties, but their dignity does not depend on the power or standing of their family. They may enjoy the company of others, yet they are not inwardly lost when they are alone.
This is the deeper transformation the saying points to.
Allah gives a person an inner richness that wealth cannot guarantee, a dignity that family or social standing cannot establish, and a companionship that human company alone cannot provide.
The things of this world can remain in your hands without becoming the foundation of your heart.
That is the freedom of taqwā:

Taqwā means living with an awareness of God—being mindful of Him in what we choose, say, and do, and allowing Him to guide us towards what is right and away from what is wrong.
This does not mean that a person of taqwā must turn away from wealth, family, society, or friendship. Taqwā is not withdrawal from life; it is learning how to live rightly within it.A person may have wealth, but their heart is not dependent on wealth for its sense of security. They may have a loving family and strong social ties, but their dignity does not depend on the power or standing of their family. They may enjoy the company of others, yet they are not inwardly lost when they are alone.

Lady Zainab (s.a) the daughter of Lady Fatima Zahra (s.a) and the noble sister of Imam Husayn (a.s.) stands as one of the greatest symbols of courage, patience, steadfastness, and unwavering faith in human history. After the tragedy of Karbala, when her family, companions, and loved ones were martyred, she was confronted in Kufa with a question:“How did you find the way Allah dealt with your brother and your family?
”With a voice filled with dignity, strength, power of faith and complete submission to the will of Allah, Lady Zainab (s.a.) replied:
“I saw nothing but beauty.” ...
Her words were not merely an expression of patience they were a declaration of spiritual power, resistance against oppression, river of knowledge and a testimony to her unshakable faith, and a lesson for all humanity.

Today, as we witness heartbreaking scenes in Palestine and in southern Lebanon where innocent people face oppression, bombardment, and injustice at the hands of Zionist forces and their American backers we see reflections of that same steadfastness.Despite unimaginable suffering, they continue to stand firm, refusing to surrender, holding tightly to faith, dignity, and resistance.
And we witness the same steadfastness today in Iran. Despite severe economic pressure, relentless sanctions, and an ongoing aggression against Iran and also the cultural war driven by coordinated propaganda networks operating through social media platforms, but the people of Iran continue to stand firm. Even under unimaginable strain, they refuse to surrender, holding fast to their faith, patience and resilience.
This resilience is the living echo of Lady Zainab’s legacy.

Every passing moment and a single sign of each moment carries a silent reminder, we are moving closer to the ultimate truth and reality, while leaving behind another chapter of our brief and limited life that we have played in this perishable world.

Our hair slowly turns white. Our eyes grow weaker. Our hearing fades. The energy we once had begins to leave us.
These are not merely signs of aging. They are quiet reminders that we are returning to Allah.
Yet we live as though tomorrow is promised to us.
Turn to Allah while your body still has strength, while your heart still has time, and while your days are still yours to spend.
One day, we will wish for just one more moment to do the good we kept putting off.
