Think of how many trees you pass on a 3 hour drive. Consider how long it took for each to grow, the nutrient that had to be sourced and consumed, the innumerable amount of fibers that had to painstakingly claw their way out of the ground, the number of seasons they've seen and others who've passed by. Think of the history required for trees to exist in the first place, the evolutionary path that took hundreds of millions of years to become what we know today. How many iterations have there been? How many more are to come?
You could go down this rabbit hole for just about anything you pass by, from the ground to the sea to the sky. It's all massive, and we've been given the opportunity to explore it
