For those asking: I have no clue what he is talking about with "Bitcoin style" encryption. I'm not sure if he's loosely alluring to encryption used for accessing wallets (maybe?), or if he's ignorantly referring to blockchain technologies and/or SHA256 hashing.
If I had to make an educated guess, he is probably referring to asymmetrical encryption, but failed to convey it in a meaningful manner — maybe his team explained it in layman's terms and this is how he regurgitated what he was told.
Regardless, it's such a poorly conveyed message with injected buzzwords it is both confusing and funny. The cherry on top is "whole new architecture". This adds an entire new layer of confusion that I don't even want to think about.
