🤔 We continue to introduce our readers to the employees of DSR Corporation.

👨🏻‍💻 Today's featured employee is 29-year-old frontend developer Jasurbek Juraev.

🛠 His responsibilities include developing the client side of web applications, participating in daily stand-up meetings with project members and customers, creating new features, as well as finding and fixing bugs.

Back in 2020, I heard about DSR Tashkent and really wanted to join the team. However, there were no vacancies at the time. Fortunately, in November 2021, a position opened up. I successfully passed the interview and have been working here for almost three years.

What Jasurbek likes most about DSR are the comfortable conditions and the warm atmosphere within the team.

I enjoy working in such a friendly team with experienced people. I have grown significantly as a specialist here. The office also plays an important role—it is comfortable and equipped with all necessary amenities. The company provides all conditions for the professional and personal growth of its employees.

🔈 DSR’s ZBOSS Zigbee Stack Portfolio Sets Benchmark for Quality and Interoperability Standards

⚙️ DSR continues to demonstrate its dedication to delivering top-tier IoT solutions by securing a Golden Unit (GU) designation awarded by the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA) for a third ZBOSS Zigbee Stack the ZBOSS Zigbee Virtual Device. This milestone underscores DSR's commitment to advancing technology and enhancing the IoT community. The principle that "a rising tide lifts all boats" aptly captures the essence of a GU. By setting high-quality benchmarks, these units elevate the quality of all future solutions tested against them. Solutions that earn this prestigious designation are recognized as leading references at test houses for future certifications. Newly developed products are benchmarked against the GU during the certification process, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and performance.

🔹 DSR’s ZBOSS plays an important role in the certification process by evaluating the expected behavior of devices under test (DUT) through rigorous testing, ensuring interoperability, and confirming conformance to specifications. DSR's portfolio includes three GU implementations:

✔️ ZBOSS Zigbee PRO 2023 2.4 GHz, is DSR’s Zigbee PRO 2023 stack which fully supports enhancements from Zigbee PRO 2023, including Zigbee Direct Device (ZDD) capability, which enables silicon vendors to integrate the ZDD, allowing product companies who utilize their chipsets to fully support Zigbee Direct.

✔️ ZBOSS PRO 2023 Sub-GHz delivers extended ranges to cover more locations around a home or building, permitting new uses for residential, commercial and industrial applications.

✔️ ZBOSS Zigbee Virtual Device allows product companies and app developers to integrate the Zigbee Virtual Device role into their offerings, enabling Zigbee Direct functionalities.

🔹 CSA’s mission is to make IoT more accessible, secure and usable by creating and promoting IoT open standards such as Zigbee and Matter. In addition to developing IoT technologies, CSA offers certification programs through test houses, which shortens the development cycle with a certified solution. A key aspect of CSA’s certification process is the GU program. A product or platform designated a GU is deemed a leading reference implementation at testing houses during the product certification process.

💡 DSR’s recent Golden Unit accolade cements the ZBOSS portfolio as a comprehensive reference implementation for Zigbee PRO 2023 2.4, Sub-GHz bands and Zigbee Direct certifications. This achievement highlights DSR's commitment to superior Zigbee development and the promotion of device and network interoperability. As an advocate for open standards and industry collaboration, DSR values its role in various member organizations. The company actively collaborates within these groups to drive technological advancements and develop critical standards that enhance the user experience for customers and providers.

Our Lead Software Engineer Aziz Karabashov returned from a two-week trip to Turkey with his family, visiting three cities.

🕌 The first was Istanbul, which impressed Aziz with its history and culture. He visited the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace, noting the harmony of Eastern and Western cultures, picturesque streets, and views of the Bosphorus.

🌋 Next, they went to Göreme, known for its unique volcanic rock formations. The landscapes and hot air balloons at sunrise left a special impression.

🏖 The final stop was Antalya, where the family stayed at a hotel in Kemer. The clean beaches and sea were perfect for a relaxing vacation.

"I am very satisfied with the trip. I recommend visiting the Princes' Islands in Istanbul, where you can rent a bicycle and enjoy scenic views away from the city's hustle and bustle.

I must also mention the food: kebabs, lahmacun, and stuffed mussels – Turkish cuisine is very tasty and diverse."

📸 The trip to Turkey became a source of inspiration for Aziz. Which countries did you visit this summer?

Friday has become not only the last day of the work week but also an opportunity to organize another team-building event.

🔸 This time, we decided to swap office chairs for table tennis paddles and headed to the gym. The atmosphere heated up immediately: enthusiastic shouts, the sharp sound of the ball hitting the table, team spirit — everything was top-notch!

🏓 Table tennis is an excellent way to have fun and strengthen team spirit. The active game helps relieve stress and tension, which positively affects the overall mood and productivity of the team. But most importantly, it's the emotions and energy boost we got from this game.

✔️ How do you spend your team-building events? Share your ideas in the comments!
