With the idea that Quantum Computing is now becoming a modern threat to our classical computers, the need for privacy and more advanced quantum secure encryptions is ever so needed and we need it more than ever. Your financial records, your personal information including your government details and your internet footprint is always logged. We cannot fully remove ourselves from the internet but we can reduce the risks associated with data compromise.
That is because even the Internet service providers we use can be compromised. The very internet service providers that provide us our uplink data connections in the places we live around the world are also very vulnerable. No matter what we do and how we do it, our data is logged. Everyone on the internet should understand some aspects of privacy because if you not aware of the risks of browsing online with no encryption, you are the product of the corporations. They make money off of you by selling your data. Even worse, you could lose your identity, your finances, and your assets if your data is publicly known. Meaning, someone can pose as you very easily.
This is merely common knowledge but we always must encrypt ourselves. Currently there are quantum secure encryptions you must be using right now. If you truly want nobody seeing anything you do without any vulnerabilities on your network, quantum secure algorithms like ChaCha-20 will keep you safe. With that being ChaCha-20 as of 2024 has been proven mathematically impossible to solve by ANY computer we have including quantum computers.
These governments are already monitoring and moderating telegram. The first act they did was subverting Mr. Durov into compliance of EU data regulatory laws to give up user data in the case of criminal activities. Either this is a direct scapegoat for the European union or it is just outright a way for governments to get their foot in the door. Parallel to this, already we are living in a time where governments have gotten ahold of several vulnerabilities with the best RSA encryption we are currently using on telegram.
We are never safe!
You must always be aware of that...
