After the capture of #Peski, Allied forces are fighting for a chain of strongholds near the #Donetsk Ring Road.

In the video, soldiers of the 11th Regiment of the DPR People's Militia storm the positions at the Ring Road junction south of #Peski, where one of the main enemy defence nodes in the area was located.

Currently, Ukrainian militants continue to control the northern junction of the Ring Road, the destroyed part of the road bridge between #Pervomaiskoye and #Peski.

The clearance there will open the way for Allied forces to #Vodyanoye and #Pervomayskoye.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Battles near #Peski: Situation as of 17:00 5 Sep⚡️

▪️ After prolonged artillery preparation, the 11th Reg of the DPR PM began to storm AFU strongholds on the #Donetsk Ring Road between #Peski and #Pervomayskoye.

▪️ There are reports that assault squads of the 11th Reg, supported by armoured vehicles, managed to enter the area of #Pervomayskoye from the side of a Ring Road junction south of #Peski.

▪️ In the past 24 hours, AFU lost 2 tanks, 2 APCs and up to 50 personnel in fighting for the outskirts of #Pervomayskoye.

▪️ North of #Peski, AFU units, unable to withstand dense artillery fire and suffering losses, abandoned positions near the western part of #Donetsk airport´s runway.

▪️ The capture of the last AFU positions along the Donetsk Ring Road in this area will enable an offensive to #Pervomayskoye and #Nevelskoye to the west and along the Ring Road to the north towards #Vodyanoye.

▪️ The 11th regiment of the DPR People's Militia occupied the Donetsk Seed Station and bridges on the outskirts of #Peski. The fighting for the fortifications between #Peski and and #Pervomayskoye lasted almost a month.

▪️ Allied forces are shelling AFU positions in #Pervomayskoye with Russian Forces' heavy flamethrower systems and 152mm DPR guns.

▪️ An artillery strike destroyed the HQ of 21th TRO Battalion of the 56th AFU Brigade.

▪️ North of #Peski, the AFU attempted a counterattack from #Vodyanoye direction. An AFU APC with with assault troops exploded on minefields near the #Donetsk Ring Road.

Access to the Ring Road between #Peski and #Pervomayskoye will allow the DPR People's Militia to develop their offensive towards #Pervomayskoye and #Netaylovo in the north-west, as well as towards #Vodyanoye and #Opytnoye to the north.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Situation in the #Donetsk Direction at 18:00 on 19 Sep 2022⚡️

Ukrainian commanders are attempting to halt the advance of allied forces in the #Avdeevka sector as they continue shelling civilian facilities in the #Donetsk agglomeration.

▪️ In an attempt to halt the advance of Allied Forces into the defence lines, the AFU is shelling Donetsk, Yasynuvata, Sladkoye, Maryinka, Peski and Staromikhailovka indiscriminately.

▪️ Ukrainian formations have regularly counter-attacked (up to five per day) on #Maryinka and #Peski in recent days. During the fighting, the AFU's 115th Brigade and others suffer significant losses of personnel and equipment, with virtually nothing achieved.

▪️ The command of the Donetsk AFU grouping withdrew the remaining units of the 115th Brigade to Novoselidovka, where mobilised civilians also arrived. The surviving members of the 115th Brigade, together with the reserve, will be transferred to the 56th Infantry Brigade. Their accelerated training will be conducted on the training grounds in Sukhikh Yalakh and Druzhkovka.

▪️ The Donetsk Brigade will be equipped with 155 mm long-range artillery, including M109 self-propelled howitzers and CAESARs, to hold the lines it occupies.

▪️ In the frontline #Ugledar, Ukrainian Forces are expecting an offensive by Allied Forces near #Pavlovka with further access to #Ugledar. Reconnaissance drones are deployed to monitor the movements of Russian troops.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Russian Forces have breached the AFU Defences behind #Peski and developing an Offensive - Publ. 29 Oct 22:57⚡️

It is reported that ours have gained a foothold on the southern outskirts of the #Vodyanoye settlemet, north of #Peski (meanwhile confirmed).

The 1st Slavyansk Brigade attacking here is engaged in active combat with the enemy and destroying AFU armoured vehicles. Several more BMPs and NATO armoured vehicles have been destroyed in the area in recent days.

The morning briefing of the AFU General Staff reported that Russian forces have been attacking near #Avdeevka in the past 24 hours - in the areas of #Vodyanoye, #Kamenka (north of #Avdeevka) and #Nevelskoye (south of #Pervomayskoye).
