Fighters of the Allied Forces recaptured a stronghold in the Maryinsky direction from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Allied Forces are successfully advancing in the Maryinsky direction. As a result of powerful artillery preparation, which was accompanied by the destruction of surveillance cameras with the help of ATGMs, part of the enemy's manpower was destroyed, and the rest fled. As a result, a large enemy stronghold was occupied and cleared.

Ukrainian commanders are attempting to halt the advance of allied forces in the #Avdeevka sector as they continue shelling civilian facilities in the #Donetsk agglomeration.
▪️ In an attempt to halt the advance of Allied Forces into the defence lines, the AFU is shelling Donetsk, Yasynuvata, Sladkoye, Maryinka, Peski and Staromikhailovka indiscriminately.
▪️ Ukrainian formations have regularly counter-attacked (up to five per day) on #Maryinka and #Peski in recent days. During the fighting, the AFU's 115th Brigade and others suffer significant losses of personnel and equipment, with virtually nothing achieved.
▪️ The command of the Donetsk AFU grouping withdrew the remaining units of the 115th Brigade to Novoselidovka, where mobilised civilians also arrived. The surviving members of the 115th Brigade, together with the reserve, will be transferred to the 56th Infantry Brigade. Their accelerated training will be conducted on the training grounds in Sukhikh Yalakh and Druzhkovka.
▪️ The Donetsk Brigade will be equipped with 155 mm long-range artillery, including M109 self-propelled howitzers and CAESARs, to hold the lines it occupies.
▪️ In the frontline #Ugledar, Ukrainian Forces are expecting an offensive by Allied Forces near #Pavlovka with further access to #Ugledar. Reconnaissance drones are deployed to monitor the movements of Russian troops.

Russian troops continue to push through Ukrainian defences in Maryinka, which has been a major AFU stronghold on the outskirts of Donetsk since 2015.
The video from the YuVO Tankista channel @tankist4 shows an BTR-82A armoured personnel carrier firing at an encamped enemy on the outskirts of the settlement. At the same time, Russian Air Force Su-25 attack aircraft are striking at hideouts in the close rear of the AFU.
Progress is hampered by urban fighting and the need to dislodge Ukrainian formations from long-term positions. However, the Russian Armed Forces' motorized riflemen are slowly advancing deep into Maryinka, overcoming the resistance of the AFU.

▪️ The area of the administration, the House of Culture and the Church of Our Lady of Kazan is confidently not under the control of either side, with clashes taking place on the approaches to the group of buildings. Almost the entire town has been reduced to rubble, making it difficult to maintain unified control of the territory already occupied.
▪️ Russian Air Force Su-25 attack aircraft regularly strike large calibre C-25 unguided rockets at AFU positions on the northwestern edge of the city.

Yesterday it was reported that our troops managed to break the enemy's resistance near #Maryinka and took control of most of the AFU stronghold in the central part of the village (which is supported by high-rise buildings).
This is an important tactical success. It could, in the foreseeable future, lead to the liberation of this important settlement.
The liberation of #Maryinka will make it easier for us to attack #Krasnogorovka. But no less important will be reaching the rear of Konstantinovka, through which the enemy's logistics to #Ugledar are routed. But in order to do that we need to break the enemy in another stronghold of #Maryinka, which is located to the south of the village, without capturing which all these opportunities cannot be realized.
So it's too early to celebrate the victory, although due to our army's recent successes in the area it has become one big step closer.
P.S. And also yesterday our troops resumed their offensive near #Novomikhailovka, which is both part of the operation to take #Ugledar and part of the offensive near #Maryinka, which allows us to tie it all together into one big battle.

Russian barrel and rocket artillery continues to be active in the Kherson direction. Arrivals in the regional centre. Strikes on AFU positions in #Belozerka, #Antonovka, #Nikolskoye, #Tokarevka, #Berislav and #Staroshvedskoye. That is, practically along the entire line of contact. For their part, the AFU shelled Novaya Kakhovka. They also launched missile attacks on #Chaplinka and #Skadovsk. The latter two named localities are now deep in the rear. (Figure 1)
On the #Donetsk front, everything is traditional. Russian troops do not abandon attempts to break through to #Konstantinovka, attacking near #Novomikhailovka. Street fighting continues in #Maryinka. The AFU is not going to give up its stronghold on the dominant heights above #Donetsk. Russian troops resumed assault actions near #Pervomayskoye. Their artillery was working tightly on the #Avdeyevka stronghold. (Fig. 2)
On the southern outskirts of #Bakhmut, the Wagner PMCs attacked from the direction of #Opytnoye. Not to be confused with the locality of the same name near #Donetsk! There is also fierce fighting on the southeastern outskirts of the city. Near #Soledar, the Wagner PMC again storms #Bakhmutskoye and #Yakovlevka. (Fig. 3)
