– A Telegram Channel broadcasts, and we can comment in the Discussion
– Consider anything you say as being said in public. Don't share any personal or sensitive data here.
– Flag or report any bad actors abuse to the admins, @defenddemocracy or @blockthecoup.
– Nobody can see your phone number UNLESS you share your contact details directly with them (so its much better than WhatsApp)
– You DO NOT have to set a real name or a username AT ALL so you can protect your privacy.
– Staying safe: In your settings do not automatically download photos or files that are posted in a group or channel. Here's how: Got to Settings > Data and Storage > Save Incoming Photos > Switch off all switches
To be completely anonymous: Put a new SIM into a spare phone and use once to get the confirmation text from Telegram.
