🇳🇪 Thousands of people in Niger took to the streets to celebrate the withdrawal of French troops, completed on December 22

The demonstration was attended by the prime ministers of Burkina Faso and Mali. These countries, along with Niger, have suspended military cooperation with their former colonizer, France.

Apart from the pullout of the French troops from its soil, Niger obtained the expulsion of the French ambassador to the West African country, Sylvain Itte, and halted all cooperation with the International Organization of Francophone Nations (OIF).

▪️ In Gaza, the IDF is advancing from the coast. Clashes are occurring near the reservoir in the Sheikh al-Radwan neighborhood and on Al-Saftawi Street. The Israelis are launching extensive air and artillery strikes on Palestinian-controlled areas.

▪️ Fighting continues in the Al-Daraj and Al-Tuffah areas, where the Israelis are advancing from the west and east. Palestinians are resisting, but the IDF is getting closer and closer to dividing Hamas defenses in Gaza.

▪️ In the south, intensive strikes are ongoing in Khan Yunis. After an artillery preparation, the IDF launched an attack on the city from the direction of Khuza'a and Khirbet Khuza'a.
