➡️The fighters shared footage of their operation on the Zaporozhye front with Readovka. They not only repelled the attack of Ukrainian military but also completely dismantled their strongholds.

➡️Besides capturing the positions, the fighters recieved, as the sniper with the call sign "Baksan" from the 70th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment put it, some trophies — Austrian Steyr Mannlicher .308 caliber rifles, which were seized along with the Ukrainian positions.

The Government of Algeria reaffirmed its support for Mohamed Bazum "as the legitimate president of the republic"

Algeria is committed to restoring constitutional order in Niger and supports Mohamed Bazum as the legitimate president. This is stated in the communiqué of the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs published on Tuesday.

"Algeria reaffirms its deep commitment to restoring constitutional order in Niger and complying with the requirements of the rule of law. In this regard, the Government of Algeria reaffirms its support for Mohamed Bazum as the legitimate president of the Republic of Niger," the Foreign Ministry noted.

"The return to constitutional order must necessarily be carried out by peaceful means that will prevent further sliding of fraternal Niger and the entire region into problems related to insecurity and instability, and our peoples from entering disasters and deprivation," the Algerian Foreign Ministry stressed.

"Therefore, Algeria cautions, calls for prudence and restraint in the face of the intentions of foreign military intervention, which, unfortunately, seem to be real and feasible options, while being factors that only complicate and exacerbate the current crisis," the communiqué reads.

Algeria is a neighbor of Niger and has a common land border with a length of more than 950 km.

Poland summoned the Charge d'affaires of Belarus because of two helicopters on the border

The Polish Foreign Ministry claims that two Belarusian helicopters violated the country's airspace, it follows from the ministry's message.

"In connection with the violation of Polish airspace by two Belarusian helicopters, on August 1, 2023, the Charge d'affaires of the Embassy of Belarus was immediately summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland," the ministry said in a statement.

The Foreign Ministry expressed a "strong protest" and called on the Belarusian side to "immediately and explain in detail about the incident." "The Polish side stressed that the incident is considered as another element of the escalation of tension on the Polish-Belarusian border. Poland expects Belarus to refrain from such actions," the Polish Foreign Ministry added.
