It’s really an interesting time we live in. If this conflict was happening 30 years ago we’d have no idea what is actually going on. Everyone having a cell phone and more professional resources to film and map the conflict gives us a unique day by day of a major battle between two states with large professional militaries. It’s historical for so many reasons but what I’ll remember when it’s over is the absurd amount of information at our fingertips to make our own sense of this conflict. I know there have been other conflicts like Syria and the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war but I think we can all agree that this is an entirely different beast.
