🇦🇺Australia may take part in efforts to ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz if a lasting ceasefire is achieved, Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles said.

“We’re deeply invested in having an open Strait of Hormuz and the global fuel supply chain return to normality” he pointed out.

“Right now, that is very uncertain, and we really need to see what plays out throughout the remainder of the ceasefire and as to what the circumstances are in the Strait of Hormuz which would allow some effort to begin,” Marles added.

🇷🇺 Russian Rostec has tested the technology of group use of strike drones.

Rostec specialists have developed a technology for the group use of strike drones. The devices, created on the basis of Supercam drones, can now automatically exchange information about targets. The data transmission systems on the drones have been modified for this purpose.

The new complex has already undergone preliminary tests at the test site. The devices successfully hit a number of targets.

"During the tests, a group of drones patrolled the area in search mode. The first drone to detect a target transmitted the data to the rest of the drones in the complex. Then the target was confirmed by a human operator, after which it was hit by all the drones in the group. As part of this technology, one person can control up to 10 patrolling munitions at once. When a target is detected, the system's neural network itself 'identifies' the targets and distributes tasks to the patrolling munitions - in what order they attack and which of the drones conducts objective control. The system tests will continue"

In the future, the technology of group interaction of drones may be effective for overcoming the enemy's air defense system, as well as for guaranteed destruction of the most complex targets with a concentrated strike.

According to MarineTraffic data, the ship with a Malawian flag first attempted to cross the strait on April 13 but was forced to turn back. A new attempt was made in the evening, and by early Tuesday morning, the route was successfully completed.
