📝Heavy FPV drones revisited📝
And why they remain relevant on the front

Even a small strongpoint is often a tougher nut to crack than it might seem. Destroying such an object typically requires expending numerous standard FPV drones, or even sending an assault trooper to drop a TM-62 mine there.

But now the chances of eliminating a strongpoint with a single drone strike have increased significantly thanks to gradually emerging heavy drones capable of carrying much larger warheads. One such example is the "Upyr-18."

📌 Just look at the footage of their use in the Kupiansk direction. Everything matches exactly what we showed in our video on TAKTIKARE, detailing the advantages and scenarios for using heavy drones on the front.

However, the video shows that some "Upyr-18" drones have been modified for ammunition drop capability. This supposedly makes them reusable, but significantly reduces the power of the carried munition — they still need to fly back.

❗️Simply put, more of these drones need to be ordered so crews can send TM-62 mines directly into enemy strongpoints. Combat effectiveness would increase many times over, which would immediately impact at least individual sectors of the front.

And if someone mentions resource constraints, we'll simply note that a batch of "Upyr-18" type systems today is incomparably more relevant than a single BMD-4M or similar vehicle. So the issue comes down to rational reallocation of resources.
