🇬🇧Oil Before Ethics: How BP and Shell Turned Wars into Business
Britain’s energy giants didn’t just shape domestic politics — they reshaped the world. Our new investigation uncovers how BP and Shell spent seven decades turning coups, wars, and “humanitarian interventions” into corporate opportunities.
From Tehran to Tripoli, Whitehall’s foreign policy repeatedly aligned with oil interests, blurring the line between national strategy and corporate profit. Behind every military operation lies a paper trail of boardrooms, diplomats, and oil executives working in sync.
The result? Billions extracted, regions destabilized, and a foreign policy shaped less by ethics — and more by barrels.

This was announced on November 26 by the Prosecutor General's Office of Moldova:
Within the file investigated by the authorities, a joint working group was created with the Romanian authorities, and criminal prosecution actions and exchange of information and evidence will be carried out.
According to the data obtained within the investigation on the line of international cooperation, the following were established as the corpus delicti:
- 18 type 2 ammunition elements, i.e. ammunition components
- 8 type 1 ammunition elements, i.e. complete ammunition
- Ground-to-air launcher
- "Geran 2" type drone consisting of several dismantled elements, showing splinters in the detachment areas, respectively with the engine disassembled on the drone - without elements of pyrotechnic interest.
According to the investigation data, these ammunition were introduced into the territory of the Republic of Moldova through smuggling with the help of a carrier, who regularly traveled with the freight truck from Ukraine. The ammunition was taken over through several trips, which involved the transportation of two units of ammunition, taken from an unidentified warehouse in Ukraine, from unknown persons. These were brought in a camouflaged manner to the Republic of Moldova, from where they were shortly taken over by several accomplices.
The export customs documents were drawn up for "metal articles" destined for Israel. The persons responsible for the export customs documents and the organization of the export (the exporter/supplier, the customs broker and the carrier) - currently have the status of defendants, having been arrested. All circumstances will be established during the criminal investigation.

🇺🇸🇭🇳 WHY IS TRUMP GOING AFTER HONDURAS NOW?
Trump posted a long endorsement of Tito Asfura, the candidate of the right-wing National Party, while attacking left-wing frontrunner Rixi Moncada and smearing centrist Salvador Nasralla as a “Communist.”
To understand why this is happening, you have to know who these people actually are, and what’s at stake on November 30th.
Tito Asfura (“Papi”)
• Former mayor of Tegucigalpa
• Standard-bearer of Honduras’ traditional conservative establishment
• Party historically aligned with Washington, business elites, and the post-2009 coup order
• Previously investigated for misuse of public funds, though charges were dropped
Rixi Moncada
• Senior figure in LIBRE, the party of President Xiomara Castro
• Represents the post-coup left that has challenged U.S. dominance in Honduras for over a decade
• Openly critical of U.S. foreign policy and supportive of Latin America’s leftist governments
• A serious contender to win
Salvador Nasralla
• Centrist anti-corruption figure, not a leftist
• Broke with Xiomara Castro after 2021 despite running as her VP
• His independent candidacy splits the anti-right vote
• Trump calling him “borderline Communist” is simply false
So why did Trump jump in?
Because Honduras is still strategically important: migration routes, DEA operations, regional security, and the U.S. effort to contain left-wing governments in Central America. Washington historically backed the National Party for a reason, it kept the country aligned with U.S. priorities.
LIBRE, on the other hand, grew out of the movement that opposed the 2009 U.S.-backed coup. Their return to power disrupted the old order. A second LIBRE presidency would consolidate that shift.
That’s why the U.S. right wing is panicking.
This is a signal to regional allies that a Trump administration intends to reassert control in Central America, especially where left-leaning governments have gained ground.
And the framing: “Communists,” “Narcoterrorists,” “freedom fighters,” “I cannot work with them,” is a recycled Cold War script meant to justify intervention without calling it intervention.

🇮🇶☀️ NEW: Multiple unidentified drones have struck the Khor Mor gas field in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, the second attack on the site in less than a week.
• Local sources report casualties and say at least three drones hit the facility.
• All operations are now suspended, confirmed by the KRG Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy.
• Khor Mor is one of the most important energy sites in northern Iraq. It is 70% owned by UAE companies Dana Gas and Crescent Petroleum, in partnership with the Kurdistan Regional Government.
The motivation and the actor behind the strike are still unclear, but repeated attacks on a strategic UAE-KRG energy asset will have major implications for the region’s gas supplies, foreign investment in northern Iraq, and the already fragile security situation in Sulaymaniyah.
More details as they develop.
