🇺🇦🇪🇺Ukraine has proposed that the European Union finance the Ukrainian Armed Forces from 2026, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko said.

"What we propose: participation of partners in financing the Ukrainian armed forces and integration of the Ukrainian army into the European defense system. Expenditures on providing the Ukrainian armed forces with security in Europe will make up a small share of the EU's GDP," the minister said.

According to him, these costs can be distributed among countries ready to join the initiative and included in the calculation of defense spending in accordance with the obligations of these countries to NATO.
